He is far more partisan on the former, and surprisingly restrained on the latter. As for the Daily Kos, who is to say that it is not the modern-day equivalent of The Atlantic or The Nation? It's a brave new world out there, and it's scary, but we all have to navigate it. As John Hockenberry said the other day on The TakeAway, "It's a Grand Theft Auto World - we just live in it." Tell it to Hillary, too.

Re: mediabistro.com: TVNewser

CNBC is still staffed by men behaving badly and girls who want to emulate them. Change the channel to TVLand, where you can watch reruns of Andy Griffith

Step 3.) Don't think about Keith ever again.

See how simple that is? You can choose to watch, or not watch, Keith and MSNBC. I do the same thing with Faux News - I choose not to watch - and I feel much better for it.

As for Keith, I wouldn't miss him. He is one of the few to call out the liars and hypocrites on Faux News and on the right wing in general. Michelle Bachmann especially. As for divisiveness, Glenn Beck and his birther buddies are doing far more harm to America than Keith ever will, though not as much as Bush/Cheney did while they were in office.

Re: Jim Cramer + Martha Stewart + A Bed = Write Your Own Caption - mediabistro.com: TVNewser

"He gets a white fluffy robe? News orgs would need to show that ads placed in their pages on the Internet would have the same impact as those in print - demographically (age, income, etc.) as well as numerically (total readership). \

But the Internet universe is so balkanized as to make that nearly impossible. Someone blogging in a basement can show similar results with enough spunk and connections. So why buy newspaper ads?

Buh-bye, print. Nice to know ya. This is no big deal.

Her planned departure is no 'victory' for Fox or anyone else. She wanted to go. She's gone. End of story.

True, picking a fight with Fox was ill-conceived and a loser out of the gate. But someone up top had to approve it - Axelrod, Plouffe, whoever. Even in going ahead with the campaign, though, direct involvement by the WH was a mistake - bashing Fox should have been left to surrogates or to the VP (like Nixon did with Agnew). Presidents and their immediate subordinates do NOT get involved like that. It is very unpresidential, IMHO.

Now that they have stuck themselves with this situation, though, they should just let it be. It'll blow over.

This does not dismiss the fact that the WH is right about Fox News, or should I say, Faux News, which is a megaphone for the neocons and the wingnuts.

Live and learn. Now, there they go again, those liberal media types from the lower 48 that are just waiting behind the duck blind of impartiality before blasting poor, poor Sarah with 'gotcha' questions like, "What do you read?" Shame on them! As a card-carrying writer, Sarah Palin carries around the abridged OED in her knapsack. It's true! Just ask Lynn Vincent, who is also a victim.
