JoeHaynes.org, Keruxai.com, ProphecyBlog.net & Historicism.com are owned and maintained by me, Joe Haynes, of British Columbia, Canada. I'm the husband of a homeschooling mom named Heather, and the father of three great kids. I have served as a pastor on staff in churches in British Columbia, Alberta and, most recently, in Saskatchewan. I have a Master of Arts degree in Christian Studies from Northwest Baptist Seminary of ACTS (Associated Canadian Theological Seminaries at Trinity Western University). My wife and I moved to Victoria, BC in mid 2011, where we believe God has called us to establish a new church in one of the most unchurched population centres in Canada. For this purpose we have joined Church Planting BC with whom we aim to plant a church as part of the Mennonite Brethren Churches of Canada. In addition to the MB statement of faith, I confess the historic understanding of the evangelical Christian faith as set out in the Second London Baptist Confession of Faith (1689 - http://www.historicism.com/menu/beliefs.htm) and the Confessional Statement of the Gospel Coalition (http://thegospelcoalition.org/about/foundation-documents/confessional/).
