The NBA needs to get a handle on their salaries. They are literally breaking the bank of the owners.

Re: Swarmsports | Your Sports News Alternative

Urlacher hasn't been the same since before their Super Bowl run. As you may have noticed, even though I have the Note II as my main phone, I'm still putting my old Samsung Captivate to use. I just upgraded to the latest CyanogenMod CM 10 Stable earlier today as you may have read here:

http://www.rexduffdixon.com...

Also, I just updated this post here, in case you didn't see it - it seems like the glitch in MS Exchange is now gone. Things are stable again running that for now.

Re: One Day – Seventeen Hours : Samsung Galaxy Note II

Hey Thomas,

Thanks for stopping by and leaving a comment. While it is still a mystery as to why push / Microsoft Exchange isn't working properly on the new Note II or could be the version of Jelly Bean that was installed or maybe something else, I'm quite happy with the phone otherwise.

Glad to hear you are getting 2 days out of your 2 year old Galaxy S II (assume you meant II and not Note II since the Note II just came out on 10/24/12!).

Do you have some screenshots to share like I did in my posts about my Note II?

While you may not be impressed with the statistics I shared, if you read some of my earlier posts, you'll see I came from a over 2 year old Samsung Galaxy S Captivate which is even more ancient in phone years than your Galaxy S II. A phone this big has a huge screen which is most of the battery burn, 5.5" screen - you can't go wrong.

This phone does rock, so while my championing of battery life seemed to set you off to leave a negative comment, all I can say is go check it out or find one of your friends that actually has a Samsung Galaxy Note II (not a Galaxy S II), and see how great of a phone it is.

Anyways, thanks again for stopping by and actually reading my post! :)

Re: Samsung Captivate i897 upgrade to CyanogenMod 10 M1

Thanks for letting me know CM10 M2 is out! I have been waiting for that to be released. If I can figure out the random sleep (must OC again with Devil kernel) I think battery life would be decent.

Re: Samsung Captivate i897 upgrade to CyanogenMod 10 M1

Yes, Devil3 kernel is also JB, but it was more stable I think. I have to check to see if the monthly update is out too. Hopefully so, and I can add that new CM10 M version and maybe that will take care of things too.

Re: Samsung Captivate i897 upgrade to CyanogenMod 10 M1

It is JellyBean kernel in CM10 M1. Just having some reboot/shutdown issues, so think I'm going back to running the Devil3 1.4.1 kernel this weekend - also JellyBean

Re: Samsung Captivate i897 upgrade to CyanogenMod 10 M1

Yes, it all works fine CM 10 M1 - I'm back on the CyanogenMod kernel, but there are too many reboots/shutdowns, so I'm going back to Devil3 1.4.1 this weekend and maybe won't overclock to see how that is. I was on 9.1 and I had reboot/shutdowns there too. So who knows, it might just be my phone. :)

Re: Tegra Tuesday Giveaway: 8GB Nexus 7! Sometimes, and other times, wish I was in another place to take advantage of other opportunities. The job you do was surely not really there either. I remember the days of career counselors and the jobs listings back in the day. Was not very interesting, I chose the Navy for my first real job outside of the fast food industry. :)
