Wilf/Wolf has me intrigued when he took Flynne to see Cherise. He reminded me of Bruce Willis from The Sixth Sense. Always lurking like a ghost, and not doing much but talking and feigning guidance.

I was very very lucky. My parents were so awful to me growing up, I moved out when I was 18, got married, and over 32/33 years with my husband. I prided myself on my strengths, and wished my parents would have loved me to see I wasn't an teenager fighting back. My husand saw my parents as abusers, and always challenged me to stand up for myself. He never pushed. He never demanded. He treated me with respect and wanted me to find that for myself. It took till I was late 40s in 2019 to go non contact 100%. Although my husband wished it was sooner for my sake. I was blessed to have true friends, inlaws, coworkers, mentors who were teachers and bosses who loved without strings. Now I am 50, raising my special needs granddaughter. A strong relationship with my daughter and my other granddaughter, and don't need my abusive parents. I got lucky that I saw my worth pretty early on, and found the soul mate who saw ME.

My mother and father are narcissists. They were physical and verbal abusers. I spent my life trying to earn their love. However, my idiot brother was the younger, golden child. He grew up with no accountably, no expectations, and zero responsibilities. He's 47, and still lives at home. Anyway. My oldest had her first born in 2013. At the baby shower, my mother wanted a group picture of the women in the family. I turned my head to her, and looked her DEAD in the eye. YOU HAVEN'T EARNED THAT. I have been no contact with my parents since 2019, and I have zero hate in my heart. I now am a two time Grandma, and the hate they have, dies with them, and them alone.

I stopped watching shows for plots a long time ago. I love watching the work, the craft of acting. I also saw the resolution in non resolution. Jeff Daniels knows what he is doing. Allow the work to just flow, let the audience feel, rather what hollywood tells them to feel.

Let's talk about Ann Dowd's character a moment. Aunt Lydia can't turn back now. Abhorrent things she has done to women, she can't admit. Even if there are some doubts, she is too deep in shame to see her part in this hell on earth to women. June has to play on those emotions more on a surface level, to get a rise.. "your fault" but never expect her to own up.

God I love this show. People that complain about the plot/pacing/timelines need to go watch a 30 minute sitcom. Shows like this pure gold. Intrigue and wonderment adds to the show. The beauty of the unknown is LIFE. ANd to watch humans/robots alike witness this is genius.

I love following Mr. Welliverl's work. He has a charm that is truly unmatched. Once my Dad and I were taking about Deadwood, and he asked me my favorite actor on the show. I said "Silas" aka Titus Welliver, also the name of his late brother. My dad was WILD EYED, cause he is his favorite too. He said that he has a way of owning scene with just his presence. And I started babbling on and on about all his roles I love. Truly I think it's just the kidlike nature in him.

I didn't like the GoGos, but Rolling Stones. I wasn't told to act like a girl, but allowed myself to be ME. Expression is real. Forced transition is abuse.

I saw this comment on another article and I can't get past it. " It's teased that little Henry also has this power and that it's what eventually compels the reverend from the alternate universe to kill himself." In The Kid's universe Warden Lacy kills himself. And in the Young Henry locked by Pastor Matthew, Matthew blows his head off. There is a devil in both universes.
