I had no idea you ever suffered from back injury. As someone who also struggled with multiple herniated discs and sciatica throughout my 20s I can empathize with you, and reading this story brought back some hard memories. Everyone is different but to anyone still suffering here are some other topics to explore that were breakthroughs for me . I never had to have surgery despite being prescribed, and can now back squat 300lbs 5x5 and my deadlift is creeping above 200lbs . I attribute my recovery, or I should say adaptation, to these Concepts one can explore now and later when you are in physical therapy

1. Traction
2. Adult gymnastics

The first will relieve spinal nerve compression and can be as easy as hanging from a bar for 30 seconds at a time. This has literally been the best treatment I've ever received during the rare acute back pain episodes I do have. And I can't tell you how frustrated I am that I only learned this in the last 3 years after seeing physiatrists since 2003

The second will be your slow and steady rebuilding and rebalancing of your musculature .The latter rebalancing being the most relevant, as anyone who has suffered sciatica will have lost functional movement to a degree and unfortunately now has stronger limbs and a weak unbalanced core that is ready to be overwhelmed by your uninjured appendages. That imbalance is one of many factors that drives repeat injury. It's humbling to begin gymnastics and realise that you have less relative strength than an toddler in certain positions, but I can say without a doubt this rebuilding is the fortress wall against future injury.

If this helps one person recover better or faster , that would make my day . Good luck!

Re: Everything You Need to Know About Pinterest’s New Buyable Pins — Ecommerce Marketing Blog - Ecommerce News, Online Store Tips & More by Shopify

Great feature, but why on earth would you limit this to physical products that require shipping??? A great start, but by no means the end of defining and capturing business value. Socially re-engineered processes (sales, support, R&D) are far more impactful in our client's experience. http://www.sitrion.com

Re: Planning for SharePoint 2013? For those looking to have a best-of-breed social solution for SharePoint on-prem today, they can of course turn to solutions like NewsGator. And, NewsGator even connects to your Yammer network. http://www.newsgator.com/pr...

Re: List of speakers at Connected Enterprise 2012 on Twitter | Chieftech's Blog

Thanks for sharing James!

Re: A Brief History of Social Intranets

Having seen this industry bootstrap itself from the days of the BBS over modems and personally investing lots of cycles in the CMS space, it is not a hyperbole that enterprise software has come a long way @twitter-9286142 . Correlated to the young audience that is using the tools, and their comfortability with openess and sharing.
