Considering it was an off the cuff comment, regardless of my already low opinion of the man, I wasn't in the mood to completely say he's done absolutely nothing of worth. Especially since I was only using him as an example for the analogy, I didn't feel like derailing my thoughts any further.

It's great that you think it's the second-best Marvel show from Netflix. It may get better for me as I finish the season, but for me, while there are things about it I like, it's not better than Jessica Jones.

I'm not going to shrug and simply accept what they're giving us just because something is better than nothing. It still has to be good. And there are inconsistencies that are preventing that from happening. There are some things I'm a bit more critical of than others. It's not iZombie where I may not be paying attention to everything. Iron Fist means a little more to me.

Once it's done I'll judge it as a whole.

The three of us don't really follow rules on the show, because it's the same conversation we'd have if we all sitting around a table in a bar. But we're aware of each other's comfort zone. And there's almost always a chance to ask if one of us have caught up on a book or if it's okay to go deep.

We try to give a spoiler warning if we're entering into that territory, so the listener has a chance to react. But there are times when we don't because we're in the moment. We don't get to ask if the listeners are caught up and we don't get to wait for their response.

I'm writing about it more in the sense of unsolicited information or speaking without a filter, where the conversation could have continued without that bomb being dropped.

There needs to be a reason why we were moved enough to talk about a particular story. I feel you can get that across without retelling it verbatim if you want others to consume it.

But to answer the question, I'm fine with spoilers with a warning. Give someone the opportunity to leave the discussion.

Truth. The screen is only so big. Depending on you view and/or layout everything is going to be organized alphabetically or by release date or purchase date or...

I love that outlook. Sure, there might be some great stories you won't get to read, but as long as you were still reading when you shuffled off? That's a win.

And there are still going to be stories told after you and I are gone, so it's not like we'll ever get to read *everything*.

There are some titles, if you've been collecting them for a long time, that you need to get. I understand that. But if you only have a handful of issues of Darkstars do you really need to break your hump back issue diving if you only want to read the stories?

Micronauts is a solid multiple dipper. Especially those Golden and Broderick issues.

I dip on Milestone books often. And the first Mage series.
