Interesting, but since I have not used Windows for 20 years as of two days ago, I am not likely to use it. I have not found anything I cannot do on Linux naively. I used to use the Compiz one all the time it was smooth and worked well, the zoom worked with the mouse scroll wheel, and it zoomed where the pointer is. The Gnome one is really clunky, and it is imposible to use it in a video because then I have to edit out all the times I say "F ... or goodness sake". I love Gnome but usability is as important as presence.

Re: How to Enable Wobbly Windows Effect on Ubuntu 20.04 LTS

The one Compiz effect that i REALLY REALLY REALLY miss is the ability to zoom in on an area of screen during a presentation. That would be useful. I did that for Digikam, was not even aware of 5.16 then. But it works fantastic. The only thing I had to configure was the scale. That is via Scale on the Display configuration, so dead simple.

Re: KDE Plasma 5.16 Released – And It’s a Big One!

Got it on my 4K laptop, works beautifully.

Re: OpenShot Video Editor Adds New Effects, Auto Audio Mixing & More

Got the 2.4.2 Appimage daily build today and it is working properly now.

Re: OpenShot Video Editor Adds New Effects, Auto Audio Mixing & More

Oops, that was not true, I had accidentally started 2.4.1. Probably something to do with QT. And the Appimage does not run due to /usr/lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/libGLX_mesa.so.0: undefined symbol: drmGetDevice2 error. The 2.4.1 Appimage version works fine.

Re: Will You Upgrade to Ubuntu 18.04 LTS?
