Opera pays close attention to it's supporters worldwide and extend a similar form of commitment back. I've found several (but not all) employees have a story like this. I was invited to Oslo for an interview and tour of their headquarters before receiving a personalized offer. They play to the strengths of the individuals that work at Opera instead of looking for the best of applicant to fill a hole. But they do always need applicants, it's the best way to get introduced to Opera if you don't have a long history with the company.

Opera is a very open and flat organization meaning very short chains of command, and lot's of wide open discussions that quickly lead to action sooner than you'd expect from a company this big. I think a lot of companies should look at Opera's relationships with it's employees for inspiration. It's the biggest company I've worked for and from my first experience through today, it feels more like a family. Human, fun, and real.

Re: Opera 11 Brings Extensions and Tab Stacking

...really?

Re: Autumn - coxy (Matt Cox) - designer and front-end developer

I commented with the wrong profile.

Re: Autumn - coxy (Matt Cox) - designer and front-end developer

This is the neatest thing I've seen Re: Autumn.

Re: http://edpalumbo.me/post/1260382353

This is the space shuttle animal party nose.

Re: Nintendo 3DS Comes to Japan in February

You don't have to worry, there is an option to adjust the 3D effect all the way to off.
