You are responding to comments from a live twitter chat 6 years ago. Our chats are an open discussion forum that allow solos and others to weigh in and share opinions and insights on various topics. The solo PR Pro community is made up of independent (or independent plus) business owners, so none are large scale, big brand agencies but many worked in that world in their previous life. Also, I'm not sure why you felt the need to defend your personal program, but it's not appropriate to promote your own services on this platform.

Re: When a Client Becomes Somebody You Used to Know

Hi Stehen, thanks so much for sharing your experience. It is not easy but as you noted, letting a client go can be a positive experience.

Re: Monetizing Media Mentions with Facebook Retargeting

Hi Karen, great question! Retargeting is not specific to physical goods and in fact, for this community, we all sell services not products. Whether you sell services or goods, your goals should be specific and measurable. What do you want people to do? Do you want them to subscribe to a show's newsletter? Watch another show? Download an app? Have a clear goal first and that will drive both your retargeting and how you measure.

Re: Get It In Writing! I will unsubscribe you and personally send you the ebook. You may receive it more than one time, as we have no control over how long it takes for email systems to deliver. Thanks for your interest!

Re: Becoming CEO: Month Seven of Solopreneurship

I am so proud of you and excited for your journey!

Re: The Pros and Cons of Facebook Mobile vs. Desktop

Hi Johny, I would not say dismiss others experience because we can learn from others. However, I definitely agree that testing is imperative. Even the best advice needs to be tested, refined and tested again to fit your business and audience. You are right in that it seems by now, every organization would fear not having a plan. Crowds gather virtually with clubs and torches in a New York minute ready to take down any person or institution that makes a mistake or misstep. I love the advice you've provided here and am looking forward to reading the ebook.
