We were just talking about our need to "standardize" messages in our new miGhty LMS module. We may try to get this rolled in prior to the launch on December 24th (yes, in honor of the original DotNetNuke launch)! ;-)

Re: Sexy Messaging in DotNetNuke 6

Will, just finished updating our module with all these message styles. They served OUR COUNTRY well in the Army and Navy. For that I am grateful!

The freedom we enjoy today is a platform for great things! Let's not take that for granted. I encourage everyone to use your God given talents for the good of not only this great country, but the world. To him who much is given, much is required!

Ansel, I am honored to have worked with you on this song. I hope it has a lasting and powerful positive effect on many! OUR COUNTRY needs a great song like this to inspire us once again to stand on our core values. This is OUR COUNTRY and I join you in seeing the best in it!

Re: Ansel Brown Online > The Experiences > World Of Outaws: Official Theme Song

I grew up at the dirt track. Nearly every Friday night, we'd pack up a cooler and head up to the Metrolina Speedway in Charlotte, NC. Guys like Freddy Smith and Dale Earnhardt would just go for it. Man it's hard to beat racing like that! This song truly captures all the excitement of dirt racing and really gets you pumped up for racing! Every true dirt racing fan should pick up a copy of this song - it's a must have!

Re: February Social to Discuss Holiday Decorations - Concord Downtown > News

Testing...

Re: Concord Receives Public Recognition as the Winner of the 2013 North Carolina Great Main Street Award - Concord Downtown > News

Congratulations - what a great honor!!!

Re: Enterprise Extension Development with DNN Part Two > Mitchel Sellers

Mitch, perhaps it is because I am using Chris' v2.5 templates and VS2013, but I can't even get the project created unless the full dev environment is setup. Otherwise, it just wouldn't create the project. So, now I'll try to strip everything (DNN) away from around the project and see if I can pick up with the Nuget package installs from there. Then I suppose all I really need to change at that point is the build output path.

Re: Enterprise Extension Development with DNN Part Two > Mitchel Sellers

Mitch, it ended up being pretty easy after all. I was able to just copy the project folder (originally in DesktopModules) to a more preferred "disconnected" location. I then updated the Debug build output path to bin/ and installed the NuGet package. All worked well. However, when I changed the Release build output path, it did not work. I am assuming this is because some reference to the original path in the build scripts. Gonna call it a night and try to tackle it again tomorrow. Thanks.

Re: How a Bicycle Saved My Life

Hey man - missed this presentation in CLT - very inspiring! I am actually referring though to the user base DNN login/registration forms. For instance, look at https://www.umobile.edu/Hom... - you'll see the old DNNCaptcha there. We want to use RadCaptcha instead. Is it available in 6.2.9 and if so, what web.config / settings changes must be made. We do not want to make any core changes though. ;-)

Re: Using radCaptcha Via DotNetNuke Wrappers > Mitchel Sellers

Thanks - that's what I was afraid of after looking through the core code. ;-( Do you know which version of DNN this changes? Here's the situation...we have a few 6.2.9 sites that are now getting zapped with a ton of bogus user registrations. My assumption is that some program has cracked DNNCaptcha and is just hammering these sites. We have one site (not the one mentioned above) that is getting a new user registration every 2-3 minutes. That's a lot of daily registrations! ;-(

Re: Using radCaptcha Via DotNetNuke Wrappers > Mitchel Sellers

Hmmm, okay - may have to just bite the bullet then and modify the core. They were still relying on selecting site pages when creating hyperlinks, thus resulting in LinkClink URLs. Because we upgraded their site to run on 4.0 it left a ton of the "runtimeVersionv2.0" preCondition settings, rendering their LinkClick URLs not handled property.

Re: DNN Spam Registrations & You! > Mitchel Sellers

Mitchel, can you safely delete ALL users folders? By the way, I am going to have to research another way to bulk delete these users. Using Admin > User Accounts > "Delete Unauthorized Users" and "Remove Deleted Users" is not going too well. Not only is it super slow, it is not removing enough users per iteration. So this could easily turn into a multi-day effort just for this one site - has 52k+ bogus user accounts. Does "Bulk User Manager v3.3" work any better? If so, I'll gladly purchase and start using! ;-)

Re: Introducing the DNN Training Working Group

I had a little bit of trouble finding the "backlog of tasks" (just saw an empty card), but I would love to see if there is something I can help out with!

Re: Introducing the DNN Training Working Group

Will, my first post seems to have disappeared somehow. So I am not sure if this is normal for the module or just something with this older version of DNN. So we found a nice little tool to remove all empty user directories (http://www.jonasjohn.de/red.... It worked great! Just don't use the default "Delete mode". By default the windows app deletes the user folders to the Recycle Bin and seems to have a memory leak/utilization issue which crashed our sever after about 53k folders deleted. Using the option to delete permanently worked beautifully. However, when re-syncing the files via File Manager, it re-created ALL of those files we just deleted - UGH! I am assuming this is an issue with DNN 7.0.6, so now we are going to try and upgrade this instance and try again!

Re: Vote For The New QCDUG Logo

Really excited to see a new QCDUG logo be selected and put in place.
