I am going to make my own yarn yo! Recycled materials including reclaimed wood from a pallet, the bicycle wheel, and all kinds of odds and ends. My grandad is helping me - yay for his knowledge and experience - and we are currently in stage two of our prototype. We are just going by pictures - we are too awesome for plans!

Re: Big Box stores & the contribution of waste

You are quick with the reply - am I on your speed dial? ;)

There is a ton I left out of this post and I just had to stop. I started it Sunday morning and couldn't go to sleep until I at least finished it. This is not my typical posting topic but gee, it's another one of those things that drive me nuts.

My brain went in so many directions - including the China sweatshops - crummy materials full of lead - consumer protection that kills future home based business - I mean really, it could so easily be a book but my final thoughts led me back to my latest fit of the dumbing down of America so that might just be my next post should I get my facts checked.

Thanks for reading and offering your thoughts. I always appreciate and value them!

Re: Why I haven’t been blogging much…

Thank you, I appreciate it. :)

Re: Why I haven’t been blogging much…

If I get bionic abilities, I hope I get the sound effects that go with it. :)

Re: Change.org Hate Mail

Thank you for your comment. It is nice to get views from people who may not agree with a position, but can do so without hate & ignorance. And I say that about both sides of the issue because neither side is ever completely innocent.

Re: Change.org Hate Mail

I agree, I think many of the Women's Rights issues need to be separated. I think the only real way to tackle any of them is to focus on them as individual issues. There are too many times that issues lose ground and focus because they get lumped in together.
"Terry Jones" is just one of those people who only support the Right to Free Speech if it is speech they agree with.

Re: Homemade Christmas – Status Update

There is nothing wrong with glitter and glue :) Glitter makes everything better (plus I just bought some more this weekend to make Christmas cards with!!).

Re: #4 - I don’t like suburbia - 100 Things About me

Lucky you!
