shocking how difficult this is right? I have the same problem and still no idea how to fix - dont tell me that the only way to fix this is to reinstall office and then install activesync .. the target audience for this is corporates and how do you do that easily when you have a large network of workstations? ouch!

incidentally i have the same issue and no fix as yet :( tried the above :(

Well the design seems friendly but that's all I can really say so far - I spent the 30 minutes trying to get it up and running and then uninstalling it ;)

I have installed it on my other machine now, which installed through just fine. Don't you just love different computers..

Microsoft and Yahoo!'s shareholders must be wondering what their respective companies are doing.. Google looks to have stolen a march on both of them in this space.

something to try people - when I have sync problems via usb (my exchange server will not sync via the remote server but will do the local stuff) I switch on my wifi connection and sync via this instead while connected via usb.

It shows on the screen as syncing via the cable though I have no idea if actually it is syncing via wifi or not.

It definitely works for me :)

Others did less well - Techcrunch UK probably needed Sam Sethi there as he is the face of Techcrunch UK - though his lack of appearance also brought conversation - and that in itself will keep people going to the blog. There was definitely less chance of those conversations happening without the sponsorship.

I agree on Belkin and Chinwag - though I had network cables - I wonder what those without network cables views were on Belkin. I can see them mentioning Belkin in conversations after..

Representation is definitely key - but I wouldnt want barcamp to become full of them :)

yes I agree the biggest winners from the event were Yahoo - they outnumbered all others for praise. eBay did well as well - helped by the fact they had a representative there as well I think, though I have forgotten his name :(

I second the universal translator device - I saw someone somewhere demo the prototype of such a device witha limited vocab - it worked by having sensors attached to your throat and mouth and predicted what you are trying to say and then outputting it in the correct language. At least its instant and so not stilted like using a normal translator - but it fails when they need to understand the context of the conversation. We need a mind reading device for that :o (maybe some ethical issues here.. <grins>)

I am not aware of a way to do this - there maybe a plugin for Firefox but as yet I have not seen one.

I would love to know what he was thinking when he saw all those Macs..

I wonder if the buy an artist out for life thing was the ability to say "I love this artist" I want to pay X and have access to all his music at no further cost. That would be an interesting concept..

Wonder what his Windows Media DRM partners think of that quote - right now though, they seem like they are being ditched for the Zune platform in any case..
