It's nice to hear someone truly cares. For a while there I was opening up at my blog about family problems, and I got little to no support. I even had a few people emailing me telling me it was uncomfortable to read and that they like to read blogs that aren't downers. LOL. Keep in mind my family drama entries were about 2 to the 300+ entries I have total. You have such a big heart, Lisa.

Bummer about the sick kiddos. I can relate to snapping. I run off of 3 hours of sleep some times for several days at a time. It gets ugly around my house when I do. LOL. Have fun at the party!

I was just thinking about this. I used to be the total beatnik coffee shop journal writer. I used to collect notebooks, journals, and pens. I would fill my completed journals like books. I have always had a computer, even in the '90s I had a computer and internet. We got one early, compared to my friends. However, I never relied on blogging for my writing fulfillment like I do now. I always had blogs, but I still wrote in my journals. Well, when we had our ice storm, I had to get my thoughts out. I turned to good ol' writing and I also couldn't do it. LOL. I was sick of how much I had to write what I knew I could type in seconds on my PC. So sad. LOL!

Sweet post. It makes me miss my two big sisters, my second to oldest in particular. I've met some great women blogging, but none yet that I could call my sister. Being a sister, to me, involved a mutual caring for one another, a deep understanding of who eachother truly are, and that feeling like you'd do anything for them. I feel like I am on the road to having that with a few bloggers, but it is definitely special and takes time to build. I'll check out the Sister Project.

What wonderful photos. I adore old photos in general, but especially of Fathers. I am not sure why. I love looking at ones of my Dad too. :o)
