Isn't it amazing how some needed an 'official' study to relate this well known piece of information.

I think we all start out by 'super-sizing' our venture. The more the better. In our minds more = better, or more = meaning??
Sooner or later we all find that more does not equal any of the previously mentioned, but that more simply means noise.

Meaningful conversation, whether done massively or not takes time and effort from both sides of the conversation.
I think that's why for instance we become a twitter friend vacuum for followers, but then eventually trim the 'twitter fat' and reduce the noise. Our conversations become meaningful by simply focusing our efforts instead of spreading ourselves too thin.
A lesson we all learn the hard way, but a lesson that can only be learned by the hard way.

Good notes!!! Good point. Hysterically funny !! Loved reading it -- I always take my own lengthy notes, too -- even when the Profs have slide shows. I learn best with repetition. Thanks, Strong. This was a pivotal point in my life, and when I entered that other world, I ended up stepping into fire. Luckily for me I found my way back and now I try and blaze my own trail.

I'm glad you found you own way at an early age! That is really a testament to your integrity.

During my life, I have tried my best to be genuine to myself and others around me. I believe we all have succumbed to the pressures you talk about.
I some how learned at an early age choosing those pressures over what was truly right (or pious) never won.
I consider myself lucky. I for some crazy reason always did my own thing? LOL
Maybe that's my problem?

Strong, my feeling on this is that companies often find ways to justify their process thinking they are better than the competitor down the street, so to speak - or thinking they are doing at least as good as their competition.

It is a dangerous game to play, but very few companies really take it to the next level. Very few indeed.

Oh, the irony. I had to make one of those phone calls just the other day.
I think to battle this 'phenomena' I think 'corporate america' should have to call in and suffer through those automated phone answering services as part of THEIR workday.
Then we'll see how long it takes before the automated menu gets fast - tracked.
It makes you wonder... have they EVER listened to the very type of customer service that they are providing??!!

The audio and video, I will have to work on. Seesmic compresses it a bit, and I'm not sure on the audio except that I have a cheap mic... I'll have to invest in that as I continue.

Wholly cow! It didn't scared the BE-GESUS OUTTA ME.
Video is a bit fuzzy... and their is a rasp to the audio, but otherwise a great addition.
