We're happy to hear you like the site. Adding a Search box is a great idea. I've just updated the site to now display a Bing search box at the top of each page.

Re: Xbox Friends Watch - v1.2 has been posted | Adam Kinney, Continuum Explorer

sweet! I can't wait. I've been messing with the other XBL gadget that was posted somewhere on here. But it's a bit outdated itself, and is just plain html/css/javascript. I'd rather see this Silverlight one put to use.

If you could at least change one thing: make the settings so that the gamertag input box is 1 per line, rather than separated by commas. I think it's very easy for people to have their settings get a bit messed up with adding lots of friends =]

Also, a toggle to show/hide offline users would be phenomenal. Thanks!

Re: Xbox Friends Watch - v1.2 has been posted | Adam Kinney, Continuum Explorer

Next week there will be a new version of the gadget released which will be much improved and support the latest build of Silverlight.

Re: Xbox Friends Watch - v1.2 has been posted | Adam Kinney, Continuum Explorer

Yes, I'm working on a new version right now that I expect to have finished in July. I liked them all for separate reasons. Denis, I really liked the custom animation. Grant, the integrated audio is a fun feature and Kristopher I really enjoyed the graphic design of your story. Overall I'm impressed you were able to put something together in such a short time and with very little announcement of this contest.

I'm very happy to let you know, all three of your entries have been selected and you're all getting passes to MIX09 :)

Just email your contact information to me at: adam.kinney@microsoft.com and I'll send you the rest of the details. There was a heirarchy of feeds to create though and realized I should refactor it into an ASP.Net application though to handle all of the URL requests. I'd still like to put something together but haven't found the time yet unfortunately.

Re: Tell a Fairy tale in Silverlight or WPF and win a FREE PASS TO MIX | Adam Kinney, Continuum Explorer

This is great, thanks Denis!
