When upgrading firmwares, is there an option to actually update the baseband?
I've got an unlocked iPhone 3G so I don't mind having baseband updates.

Instead of using Twitterfeed, I skip that step and bring it straight into FriendFeed. Without it, I would've missed all of my Twitter @replies especially when Twitter doesn't classify a tweet as a reply if the @username isn't at the start of the tweet.

Unbelievable how quickly Ping.fm is able to implement these things.

I suppose that's fair, you wouldn't want to download pictures which are 2MB while you're browsing on the mobile anyway.

Perhaps there's an option if we were to upload large resolution photos that a medium sized (640*480) thumbnails would be shown instead with a hyperlink to the original? Or even if the photo was just scaled down by the server to that size.

A 2MB is in limit for now seeing as we are focusing on mainly mobile
devices. We will mature this limit as we continue to build up the service.

I was testing out the resolutions before the tweet about picture uploading and I was able to post 2 MP pictures but not 5 MP.

Is there still a limit imposed?

Exactly.
Not only that, the push notification SUCKS. So when I have Safari up, the SMS / e-mail indicator shows up like... 15, sometimes 30 minutes after i receive it. Perhaps it's a network issue =(
