LaunchBox has been helpful even after the program ended. Although we're in San Francisco now, I still keep in touch with the LB community.

Re: Raising Venture Capital?

I can completely see why you and Scott are co-founders in Lookery, David.

Good list of links, definitely helps convey the boldness you both have- inspirations to us all!

Re: Whiner Jerkins All Hands Meeting Powerpoint Revealed

HIlarious!

On a separate note, Matt! Since it's your first startup, the advice you may receive there may be very helpful. Let's just hope that your co-founder is a great hacker.

You guys might also want to check out http://friendfeed.com or http://ping.fm for starters.

Re: provearjunwrong

It's supposed to be a techno song, I think it's the part that everyone knows...

Re: Las Vegas Baby

Micah, wow, when I've hung out with you, you've always seemed so much fun that I thought you had a drink or two. The iPhone is celebrated because it took the leap of not allowing a carrier to determine the apps allowed and also created a simple way to allow that ecosystem to flourish. That little leap in the mobile phone evolution (albeit, the blackberry did the same before) is just a better place for the mobile phone to evolve.

Re: Dreading My Birthday

Thanks for the well wishes, it really made my day.

You're absolutely right that life is too short to worry so feverishly about such things. I think RevJim and I didn't know that
Clickpass could verify another OpenID provider (in fact, I still
don''t know how they help other openID providers because they directly
compete with them).

Re: Why I Switched Comments to Disqus

No problem Daniel. The reason why I chose Disqus
is because I like Clickpass, but Clickpass is not even close to being
a true OpenID offering yet.

Re: Displaying #Comments and #Disqus_thread

Got it, I definitely comments will still be in the db.
