Interesting that this happens just after the Fed raised the rate from effectively zero. I wonder if they will sit pat or lower it at the first opportunity

Thank you for this post. As someone who struggles with a similar issue, as well as a bad case of "Imposter Syndrome," it is helpful to know that I am not alone in my struggles, even though I tend to forget or discount that in the middle of the night while staring at the ceiling, afraid, you know the drill.

Perhaps I will overcome this fear enough one day to unhide some of the writing I have done. :)

As one of the business users that will supposedly have an issue with the "No Voice and Data at the same time" or the "conference call issue", I can resoundingly say it is a NON-issue for almost 99.9% of the possible population.

This article is CLEARLY link bait and nothing more. Too bad my first exposure to your website will be my last as a result of an obvious attempt to drum up controversy where none exists

This looks interesting, especially the Line out cable. I am curious how well that works with an iPod Touch. I had a similar charger from a different company which, when plugged in, would cause the Touch to not play from it's Headphone jack. It was a weird issue that caused me to stop using the charger completely.

I assume this product doesn't have this issue as it appears the sound output from the iPod is coming from the dock connector. I may have to get one and try it out. I hate running out of juice because I forgot to charge overnight.

The real question is can any "expert" really be trusted? I know a lot of people who claim to be experts as well as people who really are experts. The difference? Those who CLAIM to be experts are usually the loudest voice on a topic. While they may not know what the true or best answer is, they receive attention due t the size of the voice. REAL experts will simply give the answer which makes the most sense and not call the press when they do.

Britney, you are the second kind of expert. The one who knows by dong, experiencing, and you don't mind sharing. You just keep doing what you are doing. The world will catch up. :)

As another "Former" cogop'r who IS basically through with the organization, and religion as a whole for that matter, I agree with you basic premise, but I feel there are still many in the organization who are trapped in the cogop of the 60's and 70's. They still stay in their insulated circles and don't know what life is like on the "outside" because they know no better.

It is those who I weep for when I pray. I think many cogop'rs would make good Catholics; they know how to suffer. my favorite quote "A lightbulb goes out in a room, most people would simply change the bulb, a "good" catholic stands in the dark and crys "Why me Lord?"

I am one of the "called" who were thrown out with no training to speak of other than watching my father who did well, but never received any formal training either. I was inept and it is only by the grace of God i did not cause any more harm than I did. I knew when to quit and did. There are many who did not and went on to commit spiritual genocide in many churches.

Met Christine at a conference she keynoted. I got to have lunch with her as a part of the conference package and she is VERY likable. Our table talked for a long time and she gave us insights we wouldn't have gotten from just a keynote. I enjoyed my time with her at lunch and would love to just sit and talk with her a bit more.

Good analysis overall, but I take exception to the line

As a "Yank" who "gets" it, I caustion you on perpetuating stereotypes of the clueless "Yanks." Some of us DO get it ;)
