Yes. If someone wants to be part of the conversation, that is great.
Intentions ate tough to judge, though and sometimes approval of one

To me, it seems that it is cheaper than a whiteboard - I think that it is so
cool. Thank you so much for sharing this. I wonder if there are pictures of
the NCTM conference room wall? That would be so cool to see.

Thank you. Of course, I'll take a look at Chris Brogan's post. However, one note is that just because "social networking gurus" are gurus of social networking doesn't necessarily mean they understand the realities of school. It is tough to be a teacher because everyone had a teacher and has opinions about how to be one! Same with libraries< i guess. Thank you for the article.

Rick, it sounds like you and I have such common experiences on this one! And yes, there is some adoption of technology but it does seem to sort of lag behind the new model we are truly discussing here.

Told you so?! Yeah, maybe I'll get to say that. Hopefully more in the future than less though.

I'm working the geography thing but now am considering a private list version of each as well for those that don't want to be outed.

Also I'm avoiding labels that aren't useful to me personally, such as gay or hetero. Likewise, ethnicity isn't a big concern of mine, but ethnic interests or cooking might be.

Libel & more are my Lists concerns. I can see it getting way out of hand as well with students and bullies and cliques. That'll start taking place immediately.
