Hell, if the Zune acted as an additional video-only storage device for the 360 I'd consider buying one. And you know how dirty I feel when I buy MS products.

I'd suggest you get a 360 now and wait to pick up a PS3 when it's cheaper and there are exclusives you want to play in the bargain bin.

Yeah, I tend to split my gaming time into chunks as well, so even I can't really accurately answer my own poll ;)

It's still interesting to see because I think the majority of my audience probably consists of people with "real jobs," and therefore have to take their gaming time when they can get it (45 minutes at a time).

Completely unscientific, but still interesting.

I almost have to vote twice to give you an accurate picture. I tend to spend 20 minutes or less at a time with my DS. That'd be at least once a day. But I also schedule 1 and 2 hour gaming blocks with one my consoles or PC at least twice a week.

And my gaming time is usually split between a lot of game types, with RPGs probably rising to the top, mostly due to their length and my need to replay them for narrative research.

I'm downloading the demo right now. Hopefully it'll run under WINE, but I'm not holding my breath. Perhaps if it won't run, I'll finally buy an play HL2.

I'm holding off on an Xbox 360 purchase until I can get the new fab, but man oh man, I want to play Bioshock!

We all pick up horrible habits in college. It's all those pesky professors. I suspect that's what caused the bad sentence.

More importantly...it's actually news to me that you have to pay a licensing fee to support DVD as a playback format. I always figured fees went on the production side for some reason. That would explain things, certainly.

Licensing fees are the bug-a-boo, evidently. In order to keep costs down, Ninty opted to leave out DVD playback.

I'm still wondering what the exciting September news Reggie hinted at is going to be.

I'm also wondering where I learned to form sentences like that last one. Ew.
