I think Daniel nailed it when he found the Noble Horse Theatre. They do performances that feature horses. I would never expect this sort of thing within walking distance of where I live, but hey, there it is.

I can only assume they're located here of all places because the rent's cheap on account of the overall sketchiness of the neighborhood. The appeal of being close to downtown with the low price point of a future crime scene. Works for everyone! (even the horses, who are probably just in it for the oats and hair brushing and know not the danger of inner city life)

I was going to offer the suggestion that these might be the bad-ass'd steeds of the mounted police. Then again, I live in the suburbs and every damn thing about the city frightens the fanny-pack right offa me. So I know nothing.
