FYI the PMA Performance marketing Association which is the main organization representing the industry has just filed a law suit against the State of Illinois. I would like to connect you to Rebecca Madigan the managing director of the PMA. I think it will give you a very eye opening perspective on how big and issue, and potentially unconstitutional the Affiliate Nexus Tax is. Its threatening to wipe out more business than the tax that it generates. the problem is that State legislation has no idea what affiliate marketing is or how large it is as an industry. i know all to well from leading a panel with the head of the Colorado legislation who openly said " we had no idea how big affiliate marketing was in Colorado. we were just following NY State." Please DM me @MediaTrustpete if you would like more info or an intro to the PMA (i am on the BOD) Thank you again for covering this. i hope you will follow up on the much bigger story behind this.

Performance Marketing Association Sues State of Illinois over Affiliate Nexus LawLawsuit Aims to Protect 9,000 Illinois Small Businesses;State Will Lose Estimated $22 Million in Income Taxes if Law Takes Effecthttp://performancemar...

Re: Ashton Kutcher Urges Marketers to Disrupt

i urge Ashton Kutcher to please stop disrupting our industry and stick to acting
