I'm down with the Spurs still, but they looked especially poor last night. Sure, Duncan can keep them in the mix, but they certainly could get into a deep, deep hole if they don't start winning the games they're supposed to soon. Not even Manu can save them if they slide too far in the beginning of the season.

I'm not so sure Pierce was faking on the severity of this injury. Sure, his quick return made it seem like acting, but this wasn't a David J. Stern production.

It's amazing to track Maxiell's improvement from his Cincinnati days to now. His Garnett-esque passion motivated him to become more than just a bruising dunker.

The Pistons are showing their depth with huge nights from role players McDyess and Maxiell. Stuckey has been huge all series. It seems like the Pistons have too much fire power for the Celtics to overcome. Boston, on the other hand, is getting production from two players.

I am totally with you on that. I think a great feature FF added is the 'Room' because this works almost as a specialized blog component, separate from all the 'noise.'

Exactly right. Kobe took the first half off in terms of this scoring, but couldn't be stopped in the second. However, he got hot when Bowen was on the bench with foul trouble. We'll see if Kobe can get in the same rhythm if Bowen can remain on the court most of Game 2.

I definitely see myself continuing with Twitter and FriendFeed. These both allow you to target those niche communities you talk about, Alexander. Users need a place where they feel they can belong.

Hi Jake,

I came across your blog yesterday by way of a February post by Chris Brogan, and I'm really impressed with the information and resources available on the Community Guy. I graduated from University of Illinois last Sunday and am looking for work as a community manager.

Most people look at me with a change face when I tell them about the emerging position. It's great to have your blog as a guide as I enter this relatively new field. Thanks again.
