Hmmm, I thought I replied to this already, but I'm not seeing my reply. Anyway, I am stealing it from the Norwegian and Danish alphabets because it looked similar to a circle with a slash through it. I didn't have time to actually photoshop the symbol I was thinking of, so I grabbed the "letter" from the wysiwyg. My sincerest and heartfelt apologies to Norway, Sweden, Denmark... is Switzerland part of this mix? Hell, either way, them too.

I will not tell her you said that because it will go straight to her head! ;) For the last couple of weeks she's been calling them the "flop sox" which is her term of endearment for them when they go on any kind of losing streak. I really thought she was just being melodramatic, but I guess flop sox about sums it up.

I just don't see the Celtics touching him with a ten foot pole at this point. Everyone thinks he's crazy. On top of it, I don't think he wants to play in the NBA right now anyway. It will be sad if this really is the way his career ends, but right now I can't see any other alternative.

Yes yes yes... I will always love his antics. He's an eccentric person and I've already admitted my fondness for colorful characters. I hated his antics when they hurt the Red Sox, although they gave me something to write about. Now that he's someone else's headache, I love his antics. I just don't always write about them anymore because baseball isn't on my radar that much.

Haha, uh oh did my one post this season coincide with the slump? Bad me! I think they'll be fine. I feel like we go through this every season. My local radio guys are screaming for Halladay, but I don't know how he's going to make the offense any better. Did you see those Manny bobbleheads they gave out the other night? I think I need to buy one on Ebay and stick pins in it. Might not help the Sox and their offensive woes, but it'll make me feel better.

Hehe, well that's an idea. ;-) I'm having trouble getting into the Red Sox this year or I would try harder to blog about them. It's like that with every sport for me besides the NBA which is why I've starting leaning more in that direction. The Red Sox were easier to blog about when there was more drama. This year's crew is just too damn well-adjusted. Oh well... I'll see if I can come find something to muse about. There's always Lugo.
