Yeah, I think they came out in the early 90's.

I bought the Cleopatra one and you're right, it doesn't stand up unless you
kind of bend her staff to prop her up. I actually take pleasure in the
cheapness of it... it just adds to the tackiness.

It cost me $7.20.

This is the first year doing NaNoWriMo, so I am excited. You're right. It's a great way to get your creative juices flowing. Also, it quickly gets you into the habit of writing every day.

I am writing a love triangle that makes the person in the middle grow from it.

I agree with many of the points that you touched on. Those are the types of situation that I always seem to find myself in. If I'm on a date, and I seem to know more than the guy on a subject, I usually won't hear from him again. If he shows an inkling of weakness, then he will slowly distance himself until he disappears. Like you said, all I can do is hope.

depends on the decision. I already know there's certain things I don't want to do in life.
it's harder to learn what not to do than learning what to do, as you get a lot more of experience, you realise of this inescapable fact of life.
'initial decision judgement' is oftentimes an euphemism for 'core values'.

I wouldn't personally include that in a first presentation, I agree it's braindead, but I do have some ideas about certain exits that I consider next to non-negotiable, and depending on the situation and who is the addressee of the presentation that may or may not come up.

I hope you don't get too many slides of the braindead kind :-)

Sorry to hear your scanner is not up to snuff and, no, I’ve not seen “City
of Darkness: Life in Kowloon Walled City.” Will definitely keep an eye out
for it. That reminds me… I followed, an eon ago in internet-time, a
flickrite who shot quite often in Kowloon. I must sift through my contacts
and see if I can locate the person. I’ll pass along whatever I turn up.

my tumblr about a year and a half ago. In the interim, I’ve lost the path

A Trackback or Pingback is a way for you to know when someone has linked to one of your articles. It will provide a link back to the site that linked to your content, and sometimes includes a summary of what the article had to say and where your link was mentioned in the article. You can head to Technorati.com to claim your blog and also keep track of pingbacks. If you're using Wordpress there are a host of plugins and social commenting systems like Disqus to keep track of these things for you all. Let me know if you need anymore help on this Trina.

People will only see such negatives if they don't know you and the first thing they see is your brand's name (which they've been previously discussing). You have to get that connection to them without the need for your brand's name to be mentioned.

Stimulating the conversation is also different from jumping in with "cold feet." Stimulated conversations have a sense of credibility, trust, respect, and a deeper need for a better understanding about the topic at hand from people that you can trust.

It's beyond saying the right things at the right times, which can make people nervous when they don't know what to say.

Talk to folks without your brand's name being mentioned. Share your opinions as a person and not just an employee.

I'm hoping the inclusion of social media in search will help us move towards more natural language processing for both search and also SEO. I think overall it could make managing SEO a lot easier.
