You're right. It's a great way to get your creative juices flowing. Also, it quickly gets you into the habit of writing every day.

I am writing a love triangle that makes the person in the middle grow from it.

Re: Why Does a Strong Woman Scare Some Men Away?

Damiana,

I agree with many of the points that you touched on. Those are the types of situation that I always seem to find myself in. If I'm on a date, and I seem to know more than the guy on a subject, I usually won't hear from him again. If he shows an inkling of weakness, then he will slowly distance himself until he disappears. Like you said, all I can do is hope.

Re: Exit Strategy

I'm more concerned about the ways in which I *don't* want to exit.
That's an exit decision too.

Re: Exit Strategy

depends on the decision. That reminds me… I followed, an eon ago in internet-time, a
flickrite who shot quite often in Kowloon. I must sift through my contacts
and see if I can locate the person. I’ll pass along whatever I turn up.

The image — http://bit.ly/20ZznC — is from an architecture blog I’ve
followed for some time. It’s a reblog actually… I originally posted it to
my tumblr about a year and a half ago. In the interim, I’ve lost the path
(a bookmark clearing frenzy), and the hierarchy of the site has been
altered. I tried a search using Tineye — http://bit.ly/2uta0O — but,
unfortunately, it wasn’t in their database.

As you wrote, “very good stuff.”
Cheers.
r

2009/10/27 Disqus <>

Re: Disqus vs. IntenseDebate

It will email you

Re: 5 Effective Ways To Use Lists On Twitter

Oh Doctah have your twitter lists been activated yet?

Re: 5 Effective Ways To Use Lists On Twitter

Do you use Twitter list for doing any sort of outreach or networking?

Re: 5 Tips To Avoid Being Filtered From Twitter Search

No problem Jeff. What's your site? Would love to see what you've done.

A Trackback or Pingback is a way for you to know when someone has linked to one of your articles. It will provide a link back to the site that linked to your content, and sometimes includes a summary of what the article had to say and where your link was mentioned in the article. You can head to Technorati.com to claim your blog and also keep track of pingbacks. If you're using Wordpress there are a host of plugins and social commenting systems like Disqus to keep track of these things for you all. Let me know if you need anymore help on this Trina.

Re: Why It’s Easier To Control Your Brand, Not The Conversation

People will only see such negatives if they don't know you and the first thing they see is your brand's name (which they've been previously discussing). You have to get that connection to them without the need for your brand's name to be mentioned.

Stimulating the conversation is also different from jumping in with "cold feet." Stimulated conversations have a sense of credibility, trust, respect, and a deeper need for a better understanding about the topic at hand from people that you can trust.

It's beyond saying the right things at the right times, which can make people nervous when they don't know what to say.

Talk to folks without your brand's name being mentioned. Share your opinions as a person and not just an employee.

Re: Your Story Is Just As Important As The Stories of Dell And Zappos

Well said Michael!

Re: Bing, Facebook, And Twitter: The Impact Of Social Media On Search

Good questions Chris.

I'm hoping the inclusion of social media in search will help us move towards more natural language processing for both search and also SEO.
