We have considered many search technologies, but are not planning to implement a thesaurus in the 1st release.

The website will be built on top of a CMS which will enable staff to add any content. It's highly likely that this will including, as you have suggested, visiting & viewing the collection including info access & parking info.

Aside from the text box/drop-down, this entire page is completely editable. The shape of the page is something that will be considered during the design phase. The content will be completely under the control of MoDiP staff.

This is a prototype of how objects will be displayed in the Museum of Design in Plastics website.

I might start using @name rather than #name for assigning bugs though, and reserve # for grouping bugs in some way.

I think it would be worth looking into using DISQUS throughout the site. What you're seeing here is a JavaScript-based version, we would want to use the API on the real site.
