Congratulations on the move, I've seen some exciting stuff from Edelman and I can only imagine it will get better with both you and Bruce on the team! Congrats and good luck!

Re: Path of Flutter

I have played around with flutter for nearly a year now, but for the past 3 months, Ive been using it almost daily while building http://MyAlumniBar.com and it makes me incredibly excited to see that you all are still making progress on it! I understand the lack of "johnny-on-the-spot" support; if anything I think it has given myself and a number of others a better understanding of the plugin from digging under the hood for ourselves.

Thanks for devoting time to release an update, it really is appreciated!

Re: How To Develop A Vision That Will Make You Millions

Great post Nick... I'm in the process of two new projects as well and keeping vision is always one of the parts I have to work hardest on. I've got a great business partner to lean on and I think between the two of us we can focus each other, but its always good to be reminded of the dangers of drifting from your goals!

Good luck with the next venture!

Re: ho ho holiday party

Hooray, I will actually be in town for this! SO that means I can say this:

Holy fucking shit balls of inexperienced flaming fucktardedness. The first time I took the SAT, I fell asleep through an entire section and I still did better than that! I just want more control over where my applications are displayed. I want to be able to decide which apps are shown on my main profile page... and custom tabs would be great: if I want to have a "Media" page and put all my videos and photos on, that would be great.

And the top nav bar could be a bit taller. But overall I love it.

Re: Damn, Andy Wishes He Thought of That!

Honestly I don't forsee any kind of overarching Supreme Council will ever be able to be effective in this pursuit for the same reason that a blogger union would never work. Decentralized self-regulation is the foundation of blogging...it's the reason bloggers can claim any kind of moral superiority to the mainstreem media. The only way something like this an work is by an open-source period of collaboration via an independent (and no cost) foundation to coordinate the various sects of the community. And I say kudos to anyone making efforts to that end. Only with a generally accepted set of guidelines can blogging really claim to be a valid and open soutse for news and analysis.

Re: mutually occluded

Oh my god this is one of the most amazing addons I've ever seen! thanks for posting!!

Re: Battle Over Mobile Web Heats Up

Interesting that this post came up at this moment... I am sitting in the audience at the Personal Democracy Forum as Mark Pesce as he is talking about the explosion of mobile and how it has yet to even begin to sort itself out socially.

Interesting stat: 15 years ago, 50% of the world's population had never made a single phone call. Now, in only 15 years, 50% of the world population owns a cell phone. That is truly amazing and with half of the world on mobile phones, it is only a matter of time before they demand inter-connectivity. Whoever figures out the best way to do this will have a huge market to tap and it will be amazing to see who does it and how.

Re: OMMA Social in New York

With OMMA and the Personal Democracy Forum going on at the same time here in Manhattan, it is quite the 'social' day here in NY!

Re: Facebook Has Problems With Latest Release

I havent had any rendering issues but this morning I could not login...then I saw an email from the facebook saying my password was no longer secure and I would need to create a new one. In my 2.5 years as a customer, I have long thought that they have some of the best customer service I've ever encountered!

Not to mention, they have the most accurate voice recognition system I've encountered yet...at any time all you have to do is say "Let me talk to someone" (or something along those lines) and you will get transfered almost immediately.

So while I agree that many companies need to shift their customer experiences to a more positive realm, I think you are way off base on T-Mobile's service.

Re: The Facebook Stalking Tool

I just checked it out and it got 4 out of 5 correct.
