Kortina, I read this blog by visiting directly, I don't read using feed. Fred's posts are added to my bit.ly history automatically without me using the bit.ly shortener. I'm just guessing the "Tweet and Track" feedflare is the culprit since I clicked on it once because it looked like this: http://twitpic.com/9smyy

BTW Bit.ly support has contacted me and I'm sure they will get this figured out soon.

Fred, the "Tweet & Track" link in your Feedflare adds each of your posts to my bit.ly shortened history. Must be some odd bug. Kinda wish I knew how to remove it from my bit.ly history or stop the buggy subscription.

It would be cool if my Flickr photos appeared as a third section under my profile's "Photo" tab (i.e. "Pictures of Andrew", "Andrew's Albums", and "Andrew's Flickr Photos"). I know that capability isn't a part of Facebook Connect's current incarnation, but it would be cool if future integration between Facebook Connect and photo sites included that capability.

Chris, I really wish PD sorted content by city/location, too. For instance,
it would be awesome to have a feed for Windsor-only news. Let me know if you
create some tricky feeds like that.

On another note, I hear that a feed for local business news is on the way.

First, I've had Comcast for almost a year now and I have very little complaints. Their customer service reps extended my $33/month promotion in May for another six months. And, the uptime for Internet connection has been surprisingly high. I can't remember when it hasn't been up.

Second, I test my bandwidth often with CNET Bandwidth Meter, etc, quite often. My connection speed almost never gets above 2 mb/s. I should probably be irritated about not getting more than 2 mb/s, but I'm not since 2 mb/s is enough to stream video without delays on Hulu, YouTube, etc.

Third, what's up with your baiting, edgy comment? I don't really get the angle your comment is coming from. Care to expand and clarify? Your use of "we" makes it sound like you are a Comcast employee, yet you leave an anonymous comment. Huh? Whatever.

As for what I mean by "real blogs", I don't have a deep, philosophical Web 2.0 babble definition. The blogs just seem clunky like the main site. I guess they both have comments, blogrolls, and recent posts lists; and John Beck's links out of his posts. So, they meet the basics there. I'm just used to the feel and look of excellent blogging platforms like Wordpress. Blogs don't seem Internet friendly to me unless they're using a "real" blogging platform like Wordpress, etc. What platform do you guys use?

Do the PD blogs use the same site structure as the main site? Because if they do they aren't Google search friendly. You could probably get way better traffic flow for the blogs using the Wordpress platform.

I never used Jawbone 1, but Jawbone 2 works beautifully. What do your Apple
Store comrades say was better about the Jawbone 1?? Looked at other headsets
but nothing stood out. Since so many people I know had been raving about the
Jawbone, I was pretty much going to get it unless something else beat it
hands down.

Victoria, that's really cool that you were building a school house in Nicaragua. Did you notice that Nicaraguans in the area had cell phones? It sounds like it might be hard to get a hold of the friends you made over there unless they get a cell phone w/ a permanent number and a decent international incoming rate plan (so you can call them at your cost).

blderoche, I hear you but on my mobile I log-in online with a password for banking info, etc. I'm assuming everyone has a mobile (almost), so the question is to keep your landline as an extra or just the mobile. We have to assume that as our mobiles become smarter and more indispensable tools, that privacy and security will arise to the occasion.
