In this example, the prompt asked about any "wardrobe changes" you make when you get home. The idea is that you can integrate this with your blog and have a little something to write about even when you have nothing to write about. Their tag line is "Inspiration, delivered daily." Heh.

Re: ana ulin .org — When I get home, I take off my shoes

No slippers. This "hanging out on the page", as Cameron calls it (in "The Right to Write", haven't read "The Artist's Way") has a truly wonderful effect (on me, anyways, YMMV, etc). Clears up my mind and energizes. Cameron equals it to a kind of meditation, and I think that is no exaggeration.

Re: Aviso de servicio

Oye, en la entrada pones que estás probando IntenseDebate, y esto es Disqus. The rest (e.g. the "cool factor") is mostly clever marketing.

I do most of my paid work on a Linux machine, for I am a programmer, but I also have Mac machines (both corporate and personal). Mac unites wonderfully the world of high-quality UX with a Unix base, which appeal respectively to my aesthetic sense and my geeky needs.

If the creative work you do is mostly writing, I think a good-quality paper notebook, a good pen and your hot beverage of choice is your best tool. :-) Or you could use a computer, and any OS will work just fine, especially if you consider that we spend an increasing amount of time futzing in our browsers. Just choose something that speaks to you as a user, something that you appreciate for its craftmanship/design/whatever is important to you.

Re: A traditional way to build authority - write a book

Maybe "establishing authority" isn't the best of reasons to write a book. I can think of quite a few names I've seen on book spines that I don't consider authorities. And after all, what are the chances that your book would be widely read, even if it is published? Better to write a book if you feel like you want to produce such a thing, than to write it because you think it will somehow magically confer you more authority.

Re: I’m feeling masculine — ana ulin .org

It's not straightforward, it's recursive.

Re: I’m feeling masculine — ana ulin .org

Well, the tool only has 64% confidence that this blog is written by a man.
