Not only is the ENTIRE interface Flash, which is RIDICULOUS for the NYTimes, since they should know that Flash is COMPLETE inaccessible to anyone with a disability, but it's SLOW.

Yeah, see, I'm right there with you. I didn't start seeing shows until a little after you (woulda loved to have paid $17 for a DMB show), but I definitely attended six years in a row, from the end of middle school until my second year at Berklee. Had some trouble actually being in TOWN for a show while I was at Berklee, but about halfway through, the shows just became way too pricey. Honestly, it's not entirely the band's fault, with only two major ticketing agencies (ClearChannel/Ticketmaster & LiveNation), and all the middle men looking for a piece. And people will pay. Until people stop paying $75 per ticket, this sort of gouging won't stop. Sad.
