I'd still have the same content and would still be at the same URL. In that scenario, at least I wouldn't have to start from scratch.

Re: Nothing lasts forever (and why I’m back to blogging)

Is that so true though. Who maintains your sever space? If you do so yourself then you are 100% correct. But, if you don't then what if that company decides they don't want to keep it anymore and just pull the plug without letting you know. Yes, I know that pretty much will never happen, but still.

Re: Oh, FriendFeed is now Facebook’s “official” R&D department!

Until the day comes that I am proven wrong I'm going to remain very displeased with this whole thing.

Re: IE6 Must Die for the Web to Move On

And if Google stops supporting it throes poor office workers currently stuck on IE6 because there IT departments won't let them upgrade will be stuck with Bing..

Re: IE6 Must Die for the Web to Move On

IE 6 has been the bane of my limited web design for three years now. And now that I am becoming a full time web designer/web developer I hate it even more. IE 6 must go away, I think someone like Google does need to just stop supporting it. If that happens we won't have to worry about it every again.

Re: How Friendfeed is my Twitter Power House

Twitter actually gives me a bit more value then Friendfeed because on Twitter I follow a ton of other graphic designers and most of them post great links to resources and tutorials everyday. I'm able to stay connected with Friends and people that I know don't use the other networks that I'm on. Sure it is limited in it's openness, but I don't think of Facebook as something where I'm going to connect with people I don't know. I use it to stay connected with people that I already know on a more personal level. Sites, like Friendfeed and Twitter don't allow me to do that.

Re: Plane crash in NYC captured on real-time web

But, you have to think about it.
