@Baxter - Some of the sound at the beginning of the recording is a bit dodgy, but it gets better later. We've got some high quality footage too, which we'll upload once we get a wee second.

Initially I would have agreed with you Baxter, but I'm now OK with a binary "like/dislike", as it is sufficient. in reality that translates to the 1 - 5 anyway ... 1 or 2 gets the dislike. 4 or 5 gets the like. 3 gets no response... which I'm really not interested in hearing from anyway. I want to know the opinion of those that got off the fence and either liked it or didn't.

Baxter, we hear ya. We just aren't convinced (yet). Thumbs-down is a big step forward for us and we'll continue to monitor and measure feedback from the users on the service.

I'm sure by now that you're all fed up with me asking for this, but I've said from the launch that not every review of an item is going to be a positive one.

So can we please have a 1-5 star rating? :) At least 1 star doesn't seem as bad as a "thumbs down", which to me infers a zero rating, just as a "thumbs up" can only really mean a 5 - nothing less than that..

1-5 seems so much more flexible. Granular is the way to go, IMHO.

As I've said before, I'd like to see the additional functionality of
BlueOrganizer added to it. It's doesn't seem that useful to me without that

I think this is missing the point.

Twitter is the almost like the new email. And how many celebrities regularly email their fans? Very, very few.

I think what some may have missed about Twitter when the service first started is the traction that it would gain when *ordinary people* started using it. Not early adopters, not celebrities. Just non-techy folks who want to communicate with each other.

Locally, at least, I've seen a big increase in folk I know, who aren't into following celebrities, starting to use Twitter - they just wanted a simple-to-use tool to be able to tell their friends and others what's happening with their lives.

And isn't that really what Twitter was supposed to be all about?

I'm really not sure what the issue about the word "is" is on Facebook. Didn't they drop that *months* ago? I've just tried it, and FB certainly didn't add a spurious verb of any description.

Is this an article that was written a long time ago, and only just published now?
