This is exactly why I would leave Twitter, although I almost have, at this point. There is no conversation, and whenever one feature comes back it seems like it's only a matter of time until another one (or two) breaks even worse than before.

I'll start Twittering again when the fail whale stops showing up everytime I try to talk. :)

Thanks for the comment. I really do envy you -- you have the discipline and determination, not to mention the patience and smarts, to maximize your grocery dollars. Do you play the "drugstore game," too?

Thanks for the link, I really appreciate it.

I'd love to be able to spend more and buy organic; hopefully one day we'll be in a position to do that. In the meantime, knowing that we're also making the best choices for our family is what matters to us, just like it does for you.

I wish you luck with the reviews and such! I write some reviews and dole out advice from time to time, but I do not have the energy to turn my blog into a full-blown tech blog. I'll add you to GReader and I look forward to seeing what else you have to write about in the future. :)

Digsby is the best multi-IM client so far, in my not-so-humble geek opinion; and I'm just sad they haven't ported it to Linux yet. Pidgin still carries me through on my Ubuntu box though. :)

Sadly, they don't have much Go, and the Tart part tends to be stale. Just stick a regular PopTart packet in your bag if you want Go and Tart at the same time, that's my advice.

In the category of "you learn something new ever day" - thanks! I had never heard of Go-Tarts until just now. Imagine my surprise, it turns out that it's really a product. FriendFeed I know. This Go-Tart you speak of is something I must now find.

caffeinatedelf I find this way maybe a lot slower but in the end a lot more rewarding for all involved.

Good points. I've been trying to friend people whose interests seem to match up with mine or who have a similar sense of humor, since most of my friends who happen to be online haven't really caught up with the Twitter/FriendFeed craze yet. They still think Facebook is the best thing since Go-Tarts. ;)
