I don't think it is fair to say that this T-shirt is making fun of any religion.

It is simply a joke at the expense of Kadaj and the other remnants who summoned Bahamut Sin in their attempt to bring back Sephiroth to avenge the death of Jenova.

Well, they kind of are, but no more than Hulu or Youtube.

Boxee is trying to make TV more social, and allows users to recommend shows to their friends. It is not perfect, but it is pretty good.

This is about more than just a movie.

As a gay man, I know how important it was growing up to see people like me on the screen. Every child needs role models. Whether we want to admit it or not, this change will have a harmful effect on children who are fans of the original series, and it will rob others of the role models they should have had.

I think Shamalan's career started strong. The Sixth Sense and Unbreakable were great, Signs and The Village were good, and after that... We already posted a lot of negative stuff about them.

I think this was an interesting choice for Shamalan. He wants to get out of the thriller genre, and I think he does have the eye for the cinematography necessary. I still have my doubts about it. I hope it will be good.

If the movie is great, do you think the Racebending will be footnote to the story?

I am sorry if I came off as saying that Mezco made them, I thought I was saying that Kyle did, though now that I think of it, I don't think I actually mentioned his name. That is why I got confused by your first comment.

thats my point... They ARE one of a kind... all of Kyle Robinson's stuff is one of a kind. Im just saying.. on your show you said mezco made them... they did not, Kyle Robinson made them for the art show at SDCC. I think they will be shown at New York, then they will be for sale by Kyle (not mezco) but only that one hand painted set.

I wouldn't call it hate, but they are meant to provoke and get people worked up, in the name of Denton's almightly dollar. I read several of the Gawker properties, and they're hit or miss - but I think it's important to keep an eye on them, particularly in when one is in 'our' field. (I'm terribly pragmatic about these things for someone not making any money, I'm afraid.)

Comic Book Guys, unfortunately, are part of the territory: But I'm gad you think we're doing okay at CJ.

I suppose I am just sick of io9 and all of the Gawker media companies. io9 is a hater site, and I get frustrated when I see blogs I like to read citing them, especially when it is a post that has absolutely no merit at all.

I want people to start ignoring the hatemongers at io9 and all of their imitators. The comic book guy is funny on the Simpsons, but we don't need so many (not to mention such a high profile one) out there stinking up the place.

I try not to write rant posts. I usually only do it when something snaps inside me and I'm mad as hell and not willing to take it anymore.

I love Club Jade, it is one of my favorite blogs. I am sorry if I upset you. I didn't intend to attack you, just the annoyance that is io9. I apologize if I didn't say that forcibly enough.

Keep up the good work, and should I go "bat crap crazy" again, I will be sure to focus on the target better.

iTunes had a glitch in the feed they listed so they delisted the show and are adding it again. I am sorry for any inconvenience. You can find a direct link that will add the feed to iTunes on The Confessed page or the show notes for episode 5 forward.

It takes them some time to put a feed in their directory, but it should be us early next week.

I am coming around to your point of view. It is hard for me to get past the idea that J. J. Abrams made the film. I don't really like his movies or TV shows.

The less J. J. Abrams, Roberto Orci, and Alex Kurtzman talk, the more excited I am about the film.

Really hope it is good.

Guy Gardener would be interesting, but frankly I would like to see an Ion movie. Maybe even a live action one. The things you could do visually with Ion would be mesmerizing.

I loved the 2 Zorro movies, so to me that is the exciting part of the story, but I really didn't like Casino Royal. It was a good movie, but a bad Bond movie. I am a little concerned that Green Lantern might be the same thing.

Martin Campbell is a mixed bag. I really hope he does a good job.

Thank you for the correction. I honestly forgot how many books were in the series. I thought I remembered, turns out, I was wrong.

As for the show, we made the decision to start the Kings podcast on episode 1, and enjoyed the process so much, we decided to continue with a couple more shows that we loved that were airing. The Legend of the Seeker was one of them.

I hope you are enjoying the show, even with my small error. The vast majority of the feedback we have recieved has been very possitive.

I do wish you had left the links to the message boards you mentioned. I would love to check them out.

Honestly, your probably right, I wouldn't be raising a ruckus if it had been a joke involving one of the female members, and that is because I am have not been rubbed raw on that issue.

The fact remains that I got upset because the language he used was accidentally similar to language in several emails I had dealt with earlier that day. I have nothing against Robert or Abney Park. You know I am a big fan. I will continue to listen to and buy their music, and I hope to see them in concert on their next go around.

I am a bit overly sensitive about gay jokes at the moment. And lets face it, his post wouldn't have had the same impact at all without the Bi-with-Beer angle and photos he included. My point was simply that it never crossed his mind how others might be affected.

I have contacted Captain Robert and I hope to clear the air about all of this.

This was a "Think before you Speak" post for which I should have thought more before I spoke, and perhaps been a little clearer.

Yes, but since I had a dozen conversations with "people" saying the same thing because of the GLBT in Fandom panel we are setting up with Shoreleave, I was in no mood to read it.

It might be a funny joke to some, but as someone who has to deal with people making actual claims like that, it is not.

Bad taste is bad taste. He wants to make a bad gay joke, then expect me to take it seriously and reply in kind.
