Disqus works well for me. It also makes for easy commenting on other people's blogs.

An app store that only shows apps from one social network sounds pretty boring. The content is not that changeable. Maybe worth a visit every six months or so.

There will always be a tradeoff in terms of what you pay. Radio is free, with ads and you can't choose the songs. Satellite radio is about $13 a month with no ads, and topical stations. iTunes is pay per track. Spotify is unlimited, without ads if you pay, and you pick the songs. I think each has their own merits.

The only problem I have with Spotify is the price for the premium service. £10 a month is quite a lot, especially in the current economic climate. If it were £5, then I think I could justify it. In the mean time the adverts are pretty unobtrusive, if a touch repetitive.

Thanks Raoul. I've had a very kind offer of free hosting but I still think it's the wrong option. If I could import to Tumblr I would. Photografr would fit in very nicely with that community. In the mean time, I'll be sticking with Wordpress.

These link smileys that Mashable are now putting in their stories are getting very annoying, especially in the feed where they just make the story unreadable.

I did the same thing a few weeks back. Facebook is no use for an extended network, but is brilliant for keeping in touch with real life friends and family. People that complain about the 5000 follower on Facebook, are missing the real benefits of the service.

I, personally, disagree about BSG. I was a 'gnats baw hair' away from dropping the show in the middle of season 3. So many filler episodes were beginning to grind badly. But BSG at the moment is as good as it's ever been. Benefiting, like Lost, from having an actual finish date to work towards. The story line moves along at pace, while still managing to cram in a good measure of drama.
