I also have used http://meebo.com for web based messaging clients too.

Re: How to Streamline Online Activity

Great list, there's is a multi-protocol IM for Mac users, too that supports all services Digsby does and even more: Adium, http://www.adiumx.com/

Re: louisgray.com: Learn More About Who You Follow With TweepSearch

I too like the tool very much and used it actually to find people with common interests based on their bio. My theory that if somebody writes "virtual worlds" or "baseball" in their bio, chances are that they not only tweet about that topic once, but on a more regular basis, turned out to be true and I found a lot of new interesting people that way. The only drawback is that if you search for "Tiere" (German for animals), the search also finds everyone with "tier" in their bio.

Re: louisgray.com: 10 Ways to Maximize Your Google Reader Link Blog

Thanks for the ideas, I also love sharing interesting articles from Google Reader but only thought of the Friendfeeders until now. I didn't think of embedding the links in my blog or Socialmedian and didn't even know Readburner. By the way, the link to your Socialmedian page doesn't seem to be right, I think you've got to remove the /home from the end (it always leads to the users own page this way and I think you wouldn't notice it when logged in as - well - yourself). Here's my shared items page: http://www.google.com/reader/shared/08844795953...

Re: deleting some websites, how to do it?

Hi, could you please
1) remove the website "friendfeed.com/consiliera" from my account (please*don't* remove my account though ;-)). This was only a desperate workaround because we can't remove blogs ourselves

2) then *urge* whomever you have at Diqus to *finally implement a "remove website" button* to the settings page??
I find it unbelievable that apparently users can "Add Website" but you guys forgot to let us "Remove Website" as well. Have you been drinking? Otherwise you do great work, don't get me wrong, love the service

Re: louisgray.com: I've Taken a New Advisory Role With SocialToo

Your problem is certainly unique. Seems to be beneficial to all of us ;-)
I would love to use socialtoo, but it doesn't work at all for me for several weeks now. Jesse Stay is personally trying to figure the problem out - I have new followers almost every day now but socialtoo doesn't notice them. Am I the only one whith that problem?

Re: How far is it from robotar to virtual character?

I would love to meet others who see the potential for intelligent virtual characters and narrative. I agree with you about the need (and anticipated important role) of Non Player Characters and intelligent virtual agents, especially on the humor or entertainment part. There is an interesting development going on right now involving the creation of conversational, behavioral characters with a personality and a narrative, made for engaging and/or entertaining conversations. If you're interested let me know, I was looking for people who are interested in this stuff.

Re: XMPP and Twitter, coming back on?
