Just a few months ago the "hot" topic in the Daily News was who was and wasn't clearing the snow from the sidewalks in front of their homes in Newburyport. I guess we should consider ourselves lucky to live in an area where snow and dogs are cause for concern - not more serious issues that we hear about in the news.

There is more to this story than the Salem News is allowed to print. There is nothing new to this story than we already knew. Suffice to say. the media here is in cahoots with law enforcement. Many times stories are slowly pushed to the back burner in exchange for more juicy tidbits from other stories. This is an easy story to hush up by the news, after all they are just "kids being kids": right?
