Always wanted to try Joomla but never got around to it! is it hard to use? Tumblr is easy to maintain but the amount of bitching, spam, stupidity that goes on there is just uncontrollable not to mention that there is never any communication besides liking something or re-posting.

To argue against myself for a second, if Twitter were building this feature from scratch, it would make *no sense* to have commenting on retweets - that's what replies are for.

Ultimately, I think it's gonna pan out like this: legacy users can continue using the "RT @" format as long as they like, but many new and existing users will see that the new way is much more streamlined. They'll use @replies when they want to comment on a tweet.

That way everyone will be (kinda) happy and Twitter can make RTing simpler for new users.

Like most blogs, much of our ad revenue comes from Google AdSense: the claim that we're pandering doesn't hold.

I do think there's a legitimate call for more balance here, though. Much of that comes from the title, which in retrospect might have been more balanced as "5 Things Bing Does Better".

Google is, imho, still superior for basic search.
