I will occasionally, when I'm in a hurry, use a like as a kind of bookmark to read later, but mostly I use likes to show that I like something or want my subscribers to see it. I don't really trust friendfeed as a more permanent bookmarking system, so anything I want to find later will be posted to Diigo and tagged.

While the way FriendFeed groups photos is probably more pleasing in terms of presentation, I really want to be able to comment on and like photos individually. (I know I can do it on Flickr, but the conversation is just so much better on FriendFeed.) It would be a killer feature for me if they ever do that.

FFFFOUND! isn't all that great, actually. The best part of FFFFOUND! is all the great photos, which you have access to even without being a member. The only features membership offers are the ability to favorite photos and the ability to post new photos that you find. FFFFOUND! doesn't have any social features to speak of. I have to say I'm underwhelmed.

I really like dafont, too, especially the ability to preview your text in lots of different fonts before you download.

I've been using Disqus on my blog and my tumblr for a while now and really like it. I don't get a lot of comments but that doesn't have anything to do with Disqus.

I liked where Zooomr was going at one time, but then it just turned into a disappointment. Mk III was without question a big disaster, as much because of the way they handled it as anything else. I just lost patience with it. I wish them well, I really do, but I don't have time to mess with it anymore.

I love my film cameras. Most of them are smaller and more pleasurable to use than my Canon 5D. There's something about using real dials and levers and aperture rings. The only thing is I find myself looking at the back of the camera after every shot, and then I feel like a moron. :)
