Yeah, I did check that I'm an internet marketer, so perhaps that's why I saw all that.

I look forward to watching changes in the product. I'm really impressed to see you getting into this particular market.

Re: Please Help Us Help The Loveless Family

Ironic... a name like "Loveless", yet I'm seeing all kinds of love here. It would be different than your personal account. At the very least, put the corporate Twitter acct on there. But, look at a company like Zappos and how they use Twitter. It is very smart.

And it isn't arrogant to not remember everybody I met at a conference. I met several HUNDRED people at BlogWorld. Some gave me a card but didn't make a huge impression. What am I going to do, refuse the card? No. I'm going to take it and then look them up online when I get back. That's where Twitter comes in. It allows me to make a connection and build a potential relationship after the conference. If I want to.

In my opinion, entrepreneurs and companies need to look ahead, realize that Twitter is a new paradigm shift, that it is an important component to marketing, and that it is almost as ubiquitous as a cell phone number when you come to a conference like BlogWorld.

Re: Blog + Membership Site = More Than Beer Money

Not necessarily. There really isn't any reason you can't launch a membership program right away. They come in different sizes and complexities, and it makes for one hell of a first product.

Re: Live from Las Vegas – Get Out and Meet People (and a T-Shirt Contest)

Right on, brother man. :)

Re: BlogWorld Expo 2009 Report

Thanks for commenting. Yeah, keep doing what you're doing. I don't find it personally offensive at all. I just found it really weird to have something like that at a conference. I was more the venue, not the content. Hope that's clear.

All in all, great job, Rick. Its just a matter of maintaining Wordpress and optimizing your server. It isn't something you're going to have a really hard time with unless you have a high-traffic blog. And, by that point, chances are you'll know some people in the field who you can turn to. Often, just posting on Twitter for help will get you many volunteers.

Re: Fighting The Wordpress Dragons

I don't think my needs are yet high enough for a CDN, but the thought has crossed my mind.

Re: 5 Important Tips For Your Blogger Business Card

I'm making a lot of videos these days, but they are all for my coaching students inside the Blog Masters Club. :)

Re: 5 Important Tips For Your Blogger Business Card

I would think so. The other thing to consider is my point about people remembering who you are after they get home. Speaking for myself, I am horrible with names but I remember faces. Having a picture on the card helps me put two and two together.

But, it is up to you. :) You won't notice a negative effect if you don't have a photo on your card.

Re: Why The Law of Attraction Is Incomplete

I actually agree - we're not our minds. I'm referring to producing those products which you SELL to other people. So, what I'm saying is that you have to produce more overall value than you require to live.

Which do you think will be more secure? A person/company which produces in excess and over-delivered to it's customers? Or one focused on only producing what it needs for itself, just barely scraping by?

Re: How This Problogger Is Dealing With Uncertain Economic Times

The house isn't paid for. This isn't an attack piece on Obama by any means. However, it is happening in his administration. And a "czar" is appointed by the President. All these "systems" to get followers are being created and used by flakes who don't understand the true power of Twitter. It is about relationships, and if you think about money, it is relationship marketing. Having a big follower count is completely USELESS if they're not listening to you.
