I think I'll switch over to our FF account and dump the extra service. Thanks.

Re: Posting to Twitter, Take 2

Like you, I mainly use Twitter. For OraNA.info, I created http://friendfeed.com/orana and added the orana feed. then from the FF Account Settings, I set up feed publishing to twitter account http://twitter.com/orana That's it. It's a set and forget.

Re: Posting to Twitter, Take 2

Again with a useful blogging tip. I didn't know FF did that, and I keep noticing new cool features. I should really give it another go, but I'm so tied to Twitter. How did you make the transition, or do you spend equal time on both?

Re: Optimized for iPhone

Nice, you always have a tip for blogging related stuff. I don't mean to be iPhone centric, but it's tough for me. I guess I should give equal time.

Re: Posting to Twitter, Take 2

I used twitterfeed for a long while. Then recently I switched to using FriendFeed to automatically post OraNA.info to Twitter. I noticed that using FriendFeed is more reliable than using twitterfeed.

Re: Optimized for iPhone

I use MobilePress on awads.net and orana.info. It uses different CSS/Ajax based on the mobile device, which means it formats for iPhone and other devices like BB for example. http://mobilepress.co.za/

Re: Tagged again - Six random things about yourself

Merry Christmas to you, Eddie...although we didn't have a white Christmas down here. :)

Re: Tagged again - Six random things about yourself

After Mr. Rogers withdrew from the Oracle Community, I'm not sure how much fun the tagging game would be :) However, I enjoyed reading your 6 random things. I have Firefox open all the time so it does not make much difference there. From personal experience I can tell you that using the keyboard is faster than using the mouse (once you make it a habit). I have been using Enso for a while now and I like it. For example, on my Win XP machine, I find it very convenient to highlight (Ctrl+Shift+arrow) any word in *any application* and Caps Lock + def and poof... you're on answers.com reading the word's definition. Caps Lock + sp and poof... instant spell check. I do not think that this functionality is available natively in XP.

Re: Oracle Technology Network (OTN) is the Largest Developer Community

I suggest you go to http://etrm.oracle.com and look them up there. There is still however the overhead of converting it to BULK COLLECT. So, the best way is to directly use BULK COLLECT whenever you can.

Re: 5 Recommendations About Cursor FOR Loops in Oracle PL/SQL

Thanks Mathew. But instead of creating a report, you update your database. You move the code to Application.cfm or Application.cfc so that it runs before each page.

Re: Flash CFFORM Gotcha

Thanks for sharing your tip JG.

Re: Do SQL ISO standards matter?

Thank you all for commenting. Then, we can meet to brainstorm some ideas and build something cool that will benefit both communities.

There are some obvious areas for integration, since our membership probably overlaps a lot.
