I use Mobypicture.com, which is very easy to configure on every mobile phone to send photos on-the-go to twitter and several other services, and interacts perfectly with many twitter applications for both mobile and desktop. Plus it locates photos on a personal map if they have coordinates.

FriendFeed and Digsby are the perfect combination: the first to populate my wall with the activity I have on FF and other sites, the second to chat with friends. In this way I can keep in touch with my FB friends without even logging in there!

This really does depend on what device you are using and what your sync requirements are as Google only support a limited number of devices. The GooSync premium service offers many features that are not available with Google Sync. The most important differences are that GooSync offers multiple calendar and tasks support. Google only offers multiple calendar (limited to 5) on the iPhone, and only a single calendar or no calendar support on other devices.

Using active sync also means it is not possible to setup a second active sync profile to sync elsewhere. As GooSync does not use active sync this is not an issue. The other main issue is that of support. GooSync offers priority helpdesk for it’s premium users. A full list of GooSync features can be found at:

I wouldn't really consider it a new site as I have used it for a year already. The news is that starting this week it's no more free and its service is available only paying. Where's the point when Google offers the same for free at google.com/sync? That's what I configured and use now.

Spotify is another local service and there's no reason to consider it as Mashable is read by people all over the world and not just by Americans. Oh... wait... also Pandora is a local service though...

You should have said for US-American Mashable readers, as others can not access Pandora if not using some proxy that slows down the net a lot and makes the streaming almost impossible. :o(

It seems that it works only on profiles, since the system grabs the ID associated and attach it to the "/profile.php?id=" URL. So, if you try to tag a group or an event the resulting URL is wrong and goes nowhere. I guess this is just a bug they forgot to solve.

It would be nice when I enter an event and include an existing address to have a clickable map attached, so to show where the event will take place. I tried with a test event and nothing happened. Going to the full event page that is created contestually, I see that my address filled the "location" line (which can be anything) and the address fields stayed empty. So this requires a second step to edit the event and include all missing information.

On the other hand I have noticed that the option to attach a map to my feed has disappeared from my publisher now that the event has appeared.

Please, don't forget Symbian S60: it is also supported and way more popular than iPhone and Windows Mobile in terms of phones sold. And Blackberry is supported too.

You're right Vincent, I have been using Qwitter for a few weeks too (and trying also Socialtoo.com that gives more complete information) and noticed the same.

I personally don't care if people follow back, and don't care to follow back people I don't find interesting or those who just want to advertise something. Twitter, and even more FriendFeed, is a great source of information and gives me access to things I would not know simply from my feed reader and known blogs.

www.itrackmine.com is quite good for books, cds, movies, and pretty much any other item. Plus there's a nice mesh of social features to go with the organizational help.
