Its just that when you say "social media", people start listening all of a sudden. If you get their attention with semantics, then deliver with sound ideas, and even more important, sounder business principles and ideals, we'll all be in a better place.

Re: Your Pitchmen News: Billy & Sully Get a Show, Vince Gets Arrested - AgencySpy

Who pitches the Pitchmen?

Re: Predictions For The Ad Biz. Like independent record labels in the 90s. Of course they wind up getting bought in the long run, but then new shops sprout up. Recessions ALWAYS breed new shops, and clients with a desire to not be underserviced. I'd bet on it, given the ad world's history. I've got a pretty big bet on it now.

I started this agency in a recession, and others will too.

Re: Predictions For The Ad Biz. This information CAN be used effectively with others outside the TV industry. I'm usually a big research cynic, so the only way we'd approve participation in the study is if we thought the methodology was sound. And it was. And the results (both qualitative and quantitative) were pretty damn convincing, reinforcing what we've thought all along -- WHY THE HECK ISN'T YOUR ADVERTISING AND MARKETING STRATEGY CHANGING WHILE THE WORLD CHANGES ALL AROUND YOU? Hopefully this stuff will make even the most conservative of marketing folks sit up and take notice.

Re: "sponsor my twitter profilefeed" comment

Caught your comment in my blog spam folder.
