I really like Brizzly and have used it consistantly since activating this week! I recommend highly, especially with the Facebook integration!

I don't see the problem! Although I agree they should provide the former as an alternative for the vocal minority who always seem to complain about any cosmetic changes!

I really like Gowalla as well but I'm divided between the service and Foursquare! Hopefully Gowalla will be available on other mobile devices in the not so distant future so that more people are involved!

I agree that Apps are a lock-in but with the mobile web still in it's infancy eventually web apps will evolve to be available as a standard across all handsets surely!

I don't think blogging is dead but I feel there are too many distractions online! Many times I go to write a post only to become distracted by other media, comments, conversations etc that are real time! We need the Macwheel to be able to provide predictive text so that we can quickly type a post and move forward with the flow of the stream!

Facebook apps are like soaps because there's no value but people are drawn to them! I will have to check out this latest release of TweetDeck when I return from the gym! Lately I have resisted using desktop clients in favour of using the iPhone apps! Quickly I launch for example Tweetie and post a message and continue with whatever I am doing!

I'm currently using foursquare! and Gowalla but other than the early adopter crowd I follow none of my friends have warmed to location based social networks yet!

Tweetie 2.0 isn't free and doesn't display as an Update in the AppStore.

I now have both Tweetie 1.3.2 and 2.0 installed and operating independently!

I haven't had any experience with Pandora but I have been really impressed with Last.fm and the ability to scrobble through many sites and services. The recommendations have been consistant and I have enjoyed discovering and listening to new artists, tracks and generating most played statistics!

I really like this concept and being a father I can relate, I never stop learning how to respond, react, interact, teach, discipline, negotiate, listen etc. You have presented an impressive list of examples and best practice which are worth acknowledging for new fathers and existing parents. I look forward to reading more in the series!!

Great post and I share your view, it does seem that everyone is jumping on the bandwagon to dismiss Google Wave as not being a game changer. This is only the beginning, the foundations, there was significant hype but with more exposure this has the potential to change everything! I'm looking forward to when the developers fully understand the tools as I'm sure we will see incredible services and products materialise!!

I don't think that subject lines are too important and only use them to sort email into folders when browsing through the inbox!

Tweetie is an excellent iPhone Twitter app, I alternate between Tweetie and TweetDeck but prefer Tweetie because of the settings and user interface. I do rate that TweetDeck syncs columns, accounts with the desktop client but prefer the simplicity of Tweetie. I'm sure if I were involved with more followers/followings that view may change but for now I have no problem with the upgrade charge!!

I have been disappointed with the O2 3G coverage recently, can't fault their support team though as I haven't had a bad experience. I'm suprised that 3UK are in second place, be interesting to run this poll once the iPhone is available on all networks to see the outcome!
