Thanks again for your great instruction! I have a couple of questions if you don't mind.

Can you show the complete file? I wasn't quite sure if each section you noted should be appended to the main control group or if you were building on each control, meaning the final code you pasted is the complete bit of code.

The last bit you posted looks like it didn't come through properly. Meaning I had to view the html source to see the code. Not sure if that was intended or not.

Again, thanks. Your tuts are by far the best step by step instruction out there.

Cool, can't wait for that. I'm surprised by how straight forward it is (thanks to your tuts, that is).

For code highlighting I've always used http://alexgorbatchev.com/wiki/SyntaxHighlighter Although it may be a bit heavy.

Weird!

The only thing I'm doing is that terminal command:

ln -s ~/Dropbox/Library/Preferences/file.you.want.to.sync.plist ~/Library/Preferences/file.you.want.to.sync.plist

Make sure you delete/move that file first of course. What file in particular are you trying to sync? I've found that if the symbolic link isn't pointing to an actual file (i.e. - you didn't move the file to the dropbox location yet) then the program will overwrite your symbolic file.

Hey good catch. I forgot to mention the keychain. I updated the entry (see the bottom) but in a nutshell, Transmit keeps the passwords in a keychain. You need to also sync that keychain for it to work properly. Let me know if you have any troubles with this.

Question, do you happen to know if Things, the desktop and iPhone app sync together?

EDIT: Sorry I asked a bit prematurely, from their site: "We've put the whole application in your pocket. Even better, it syncs seamlessly with Things on your Mac via Wi-Fi. "

I'm skeptical.

1. I'd like to know more about this two-stage survey.
2. Were the people taking the survey compensated?
3. How was the survey set up (the format)?
4. I'd also like to know who all was involved in the "expert panel".
5. Lastly and most importantly, what were the "leading consumer brands"? Sure Facebook is more trusted than PirateBay. So who were the companies being stacked up?

I'm bothered when I see vague statistics thrown out there and people just blindly believe. They don't ask questions. I know this isn't a big deal here, but it happens everywhere. In politics, on the job, etc etc.

Just because TRUSTe says it's so, doesn't make it so. Ask the 300 million (or whatever the number of users is up to now) users and not 6,000 unknown folks.

Initially I was very excited about this until I found that you have to sort of refriend everyone. That totally defeats the purpose. So although this is a good looking app and a job well done so far, it is missing a really key piece of functionality that I believe will prevent it from being widely adopted.

I believe SocialThing was so successful because they got this right. You give SocialThing your credentials for flickr and it knows and shows all of your flickr friends updates. Same for twitter, facebook, etc.

I can use people checking in to make sure I'm doing the right thing. Part of the reason why I set the site up. It's like, you can always do a few more reps if you know someone is checking on your progress. Or even better yet if someone is in the room right there working out along side you. You can feed off each others drive.

6 month program? Holy cow!! I often wonder what I'm going to do after the 90 days. I guess start all over again and just ramp it up! :-)

Love the quote, I'm actually going to print that out and put it on the wall real big. I think I'll do that now!

I got this daily vitamin pack from Vitamin World. It comes in a canister with each day pre packaged. I'm also taking a CLA (conjugated linoleic acid) and Chromium Picolonate for good measure.

I personally find it annoying as hell when I'm friends with someone on twitter & facebook and see the same updates (verbatim) on both services, for every single update. I've just been removing friends from facebook for this reason. Anyone else find this?

Most annoying part is seeing RT and @'ing on facebook.
