I think 95% of people agree with you completely. Most readers want to easily be able to click to the product they are reading about, and you might as well be rewarded for bringing those potential customers to Amazon. I don't understand how someone can believe you are going to be influenced by a possible small % of sale on reviews you are choosing to write.

Disqus may seem to be a promising tool but there are minor flaws such as comment spams on our website, most people doesn't really care about the whole entry or the article but the link juice itself, and disqus attracts link juice thirsted spammers.. am I considered as a spammer too? LOL.

Yeah. The mark-to-market issue has been a tricky one. Initially firms were able to come up with their own arbitrary formulas for valuation which allowed them to fudge numbers however they wanted. The rules were changed in an attempt to create a sort of standardized formula for mark-to-market valuations, yet while this may have helped a little, it didn't solve the problem.

Thanks for your comment Charles. I appreciate your analysis. This post is mostly talking about the politics behind the failure, since regardless of whether the bill should or should not pass the House and Senate leadership is saying it should.

I agree that the powers granted to the Secretary of the Treasury are the biggest concern in the legislation. We'll see what the next iteration of the bill looks like.

Yes I'm being serious. McCain is attacking Obama for failing to get the Democrats to get the votes all by themselves. McCain didn't even carry his Arizona Republicans. Saying that McCain would have been able to solve everything if Obama was willing to cancel the debate is a joke.
