You still have to go to your hotmail account to check or delete all of the messages you may have already read on your iPhone.
What a pain in the as*!!!

If anyone has found anything different, please tell

FYI, I also looked at the Izymail service and it initially looked like it might fill the need but you still have to pay for the service. It seems by the time you pay for all of the other items you need to get to access your "free" e-mail, it's just not worth it

Re: Hotmail on iPhone

Issie -- since this original post, Hotmail has updated to allow POP3 for free. This is why you could just add it.

Re: Touch your PC: HP TouchSmart PC for today and Windows 7

Thank you for this guide..... When I booted into windows 7 the vista partition was not visible until I created a symbolic link. Not sure if this was the case for everyone or not. Either way, once I created the link to the vista partition I was able to point the drivers and everything now works beautifully!

Thanks again!

David

Re: Touch your PC: HP TouchSmart PC for today and Windows 7

Since we did a dual boot, we could still see the Windows Vista partition. In our case, the drivers were located at C:\Windows\System32

Re: Touch your PC: HP TouchSmart PC for today and Windows 7

Bob, glad you got the HP TouchSmart up & running with Windows 7 so that the multi-touch is working!

Re: TouchTV demos in Microsoft exhibit @ CES 2009

I'll try to go back to Central Hall and take a picture of the "nucleus" where there were these walls of touch displays.

Re: Touch your PC: HP TouchSmart PC for today and Windows 7

Hi Ken,

Yes - see you Saturday!

Yes, dual touch referring to switching between pen & touch and multi-touch in that it detects multiple points at one time on the screen. In this case, the HP TouchSmart supports two touch points on the screen at the same time. And yes, you can use your finger or a stylus (or two).

I scribble around with my fingers in the TIP. It's fairly smooth. It is very sensitive though and can be false triggers. For example, I stood up and my hair brushed the screen, triggering it. For a pen, you definitely would want a soft tip, like on the Cross Pen.

I've been playing with presentation apps on it and think it would work well for small groups. It's TV size, so a group doesn't necessarily have to crowd around the screen to see. If it's connected to a projector, then it could serve as a teacher PC / student central station. Definitely something to look into further. :) Need experts like your students to try it out.

Re: Hotmail on iPhone

Hey Lora....unlike gmail...Hotmail does not give me my folders. how can i add those?

Re: Hotmail on iPhone

Thank you for your reply. I already have about 10 folders (work, surf, iphone, family, etc...) so I shouldn't have any problem. I am currently using izymail which works great. The only problem I have with izymail is that my sent emails from iPhone sometimes end up in the spam folder of the recipient. I don't htink i would have this issue with Hotmail Plus.

Re: Hotmail on iPhone

Glad it's working for you! You need to create a folder and move everything from your inbox into that folder. Then, as you read emails you'll want to move them into that folder also. This will allow your new messages to be downloaded onto your iphone.

Re: Hotmail on iPhone

Try deleting the settings then re-adding?
