Hey, are you refering to the Blackspot shoes (pictured to the left)?
Those things are a real piece of shit. A complete waste of money. My first pair arrived ratty and unwearable, so they sent another pair my way and they only lasted a few weeks. I'm so made. post not hijacked and I certainly feel absolutely no pressure to defend Twitter. I totally didn't get twitter for the first year, then I got an iPhone and Twitter suddenly made sense to me. I don't expect it happens that way with everyone, but I have learned that anytime I tried forcing someone on to the service they end up hating it.
The key is that someone has to want to try twitter for themselves, and then there's that make or break time where they like it or they don't. Hope my 4 and half minute video wasn't toooooooo verbose.

I've been mulling this comment around since you left it. I don't know about the singlehood thing. I mean, I've dated for a while, but that was more like hanging out with a good friend. I haven't been in love for 5 years. I feel like I've spent that time with the idea that everything was temporary and I'd be moving back to Tennessee (or wherever) sometime.

That feeling is gone, and now I'd like to have someone to share things with. Not trying to rush to marriage or anything, I just don't need any more friends in my life. It feels like the whole time I've spent in SF has been time away from dating, and now I'd like to experience being with someone I really care about again.

But I think that I'm just coming off as needy right now. Hence the "dating issues". They aren't issues I'm having with someone, just issues I'm encountering in general.
