Pretty different, I'd say. SharePoint has document management and
automatically created user accounts thanks to LDAP or the Active Directory.
Facebook has... groups and email and photo/video management. I figure they
could coexist somewhat peacefully on a network if necessary.

I was looking up macros for WoW and thought it was a legitimate warning, then I noticed my own site had the warning and finally noticed that all search results had it.

A little paranoid ... I think that's an understatement. Lawsuits happen when employees take matters into their own hands. My presence should not be governed by his false suspicions.

Maybe you should have just left or when you realized that the employees felt suspicious said; "Hey guys, relax. i just didn't want to leave my camera in the car"

Maybe the BB employees were being a little paranoid, but good for them for being alert employees.

Also, just stating the obvious, but you could count on this phone NOT having either pinch screen (multi-touch) or Outlook so soon. Things are calculated on each release to ensure the product is not overly popular. Too much risk in taking a first release product and draining the fledgling T-Mo 3G network.

As long as we're on the subject, worth noting that by quick looks at very recent earnings numbers, Apple wound up taking a hit due to high bandwidth usage of iPhones, while AT&T gained due to flip side.

YES. Outlook exchange. My company has been flirting with the idea of getting blackberrys for management. I'd rather have one of these.

My wife and I both have T-Mobile and we definitely want one of these. Unfortunatelty, the $350.00 each quote we received makes it cost prohibitive at this time. We didn't even bother checking to see if the phone required an upgrade in our service plan. I'm sure it does.

(they have agenda not directly compatible with intellectual or social honesty)

Your ability to resist the temptation to allow those same forces to creep into your psyche, as evidenced by your loyalty to your "brand" (to thine own self be true) seems effortless, yet given the things that we see on the net every day--the glazed-eyed rantings of the lunatic fringe--I know that maintenance of the self requires daily effort.

Like you I am not really an Apple fanboi, but I have recently been tempted in a major way to pick up an iPod touch. Apple apparently "throws one in" on some deals "buy a macbook pro and get a free iPod", so they can be had on eBay for less than list.

Nintendo threw a wrench into my thinking, however, with the unveiling of the Nintendo DSi. I'm not much on mini-console gaming, but this thing has a 14GB hard drive, an SD card slot, a built in browser, MP3 functionality, and it can even play DS games. Rumor is that it will sell for $180US.
