So it makes clarification a little hard sometime. Even the WordPress and Tumblr blogging apps are pretty lite. Glad this helps, thanks for the comment.

Re: Mobile App Blogging Thanks to Posterous: Regator vs MeeHive vs Byline

Last night I was trying to figure out what you meant when you said that "this post was created with Byline" on your Posterous account. Makes so much more sense now. Thanks for the tip.

Re: http://blog.louisgray.com/2009/07/how-i-stopped-worrying-about-powering.html

I've been using the Incase for a few months now. I bought it for use during a 3 day music festival and was very happy that my 3G was able to last all day each day. The previous year, my BlackBerry would be dead by 3pm, and that's not good when you are trying to meet up with people after a show.<br><br>My only complaint with the case is that it seems to muffle sound when recording video on the 3GS.

Re: The tools---they are obsolete my friends

Oh totally. It depends on the client. But this is an awesome example that<br>this could work.

Re: The tools---they are obsolete my friends

I have to disagree. This might be the case is some instances, but you could not pull off a Twitter Press Conference with a publicly traded company. The SEC would be all over that like white on rice. Imagine if Bank of America tried this when they acquired Merrill Lynch.<br><br>With the PR climate is changing, practitioners need to be careful on advice they give and receive the community. While something might work for a fashion client or a new tech start-up, they won't for others who deal with regulatory bodies that are not up on new technology. The press conference and press release are here to stay, at least for the foreseeable future.

Re: http://blog.louisgray.com/2009/06/10-ways-apples-iphone-leaves-me-wanting.html

Regarding your third point, I haven't had an issue with apps overriding my music. True when I start an app up it turns off the song I was listening to, but if you hit play on your headphones, your music will begin to play again and the app's music will turn off. This has worked for every game I have (Scrabble, Wolfenstein, Tiger Woods, etc.).

Re: Twitter&#8217;s Most Moronic Change: Removing @ Reply Settings

wow. thanks for pointing this out whitney. this is a horrible idea. i did the same thing you did with your setting when i first signed up because i wanted to find more interesting people to follow and it worked out great. by taking away this option, it will change the experience for everyone, esp. new users just getting started.

Re: Give It Away Now

I feel you on that. I'd want to hear a rip of say the Luda, Jay, and Nas song, but like you said, that's epic. Other tracks could wait. Either way, I'm still gonna keep going to nahright.

Re: louisgray.com: Social Media Workflow on the iPhone

Melfi, that is a perfect use for Byline! The best part is that you know your 'read' and 'shared' articles will sync back to Google Reader once you get back on the cell network after your subway ride. Be sure to check the settings for the app -- you can control how many articles it downloads when it syncs.

Re: louisgray.com: Social Media Workflow on the iPhone

Thanks for introducing me to Byline. I bought an iPhone a little over a month ago and have been looking for a good RSS reader that will sync with Google Reader. Living in NYC, I have a 25 minute subway ride back and forth from home to work each day. With no service underground, I've been using Instapaper to read blogs and sites. Instapaper is a great app and I still will use it, but Byline is great.

Re: 9/11

you're looking at it. it's still just a giant hole in the ground.

Re: N.E.R.D.
